What’s a 10k to 15k speaker from smaller company that performs well?

My gato FM6 is a sheer joy in this range. I just wondered what others have bought in this range. Great open midrange. Nice treble extensions. Great detail  and musical

Janszen Valentina - it's a hybrid electrostatic, and it has all the virtues of that kind of speaker: transparency, clarity, even frequency response, smoothness, low distortion, and great imaging. Plus: it has bass! Like all speakers using flat panels, it has a definite sweet spot. Having controlled directivity and little rear radiation, it's insensitive to positioning and ideal for smaller rooms.

The Muraudio SP1 has similar electrostatic virtues but broad horizontal dispersion. Therefore, it has wider sweet spot but more room interaction.

Either of those would be an outstanding choice if you value finesse over grunt.
Nsmt Monitor 100’s are amazing. See Teajay’s (Terry London) review on these speakers in Stereo Times. The imaging and tonal colors are exquisite!
+1 for Daedalus and Legacy Audio but don't forget Salk Sound SS 9.5. It's a bargain for the performance level and exquisite build!
Salk SS 9.5 for under 10k

Salk Song 3 Encore however I believe is an incredible bargain.
Classic Audio Loudspeakers. We showed with them at the Tampa show in February- AVShowrooms gave us 'Best Sound at Show', which is not the first time that's happened. Very nice speakers; easy to drive.
You Can get amazing sound with way less than 15k.

15k.  Wow, really?

if I had the cash, burning a hole, I would go Dynaudio or Vienna acoustics.

Depending what music you listen to.
vienna is not a rock speaker, as the Dynaudio is.
