Oh jeez......another thread about buyer should post immediate feedback for seller.
Let buyer do what most want to do-just buy something and move on.
What matters in an ad?
I recently posted a few ads here at aGon. It took time for each of them concerning an accurate description and meaningful photos. One by one, I created them. I even enjoyed it. Ok so that's me. I read many other ads at this site that are non descriptive, for example, 'if you are reading this then you already know this item' might be my favorite WTH sentence. And then the photos that make little sense or are out of focus.
This would all be of no interest to me except these items sell! I have to wonder if the ad makes so much difference in the first place. Logically, I know that it does.
Lastly is the lack of communication with some buyers and sellers. When I sell an item, I am right on top of it, yet the response from the buyer doesn't come back for days. Do they remember what they bought on Saturday night after too much booze?
I have always had a certain interest in sociology pertaining to religion, business, public in general. This is just one of those things that makes me wonder.
@4krowme It is the Psychology of sales and wanting to satisfy you customers experience. You have been instilled with an ethic and quality that is missing from many, just look at what is going on.....

Well... - Some buyers actually do know all about the product, and are just looking for one at the right price, or in the right condition or color, or just one near them geographically. - Some buyers don’t read the ad. They’d rather pester the seller. This is the TL;DR syndrome. I suppose an ad could be so long or so disorganized that I would sympathize with that. - Some buyers are not nice people, like some sellers. Some "buyers" are not buyers at all. They are just looking for someone to talk to. It takes all kinds. Good luck! |
