Why not reach out to David Belles again.  His website is... www.powermodules.com and appears to still be active.  Even if not worth shipping them to him for repair, perhaps he'll send you upgraded replacement switches you can have a local Tech install.

Replacing a power switch is a simple job that any electronics repair shop can do! Just make sure the replacement part is up to the task (voltage and current ratings), and better yet, install an RC snubber to protect the switch and make it last longer.

I live near Green Bay, WI. I used to do quite a bit of business with Hi-Fi Heaven there. Don't know if they have a good tech guy or not. Also Suess Electronics and Sound World in Appleton are not far away. Any experience with repairs at these places??
