I for one am with Jperry. You owe the young rookie an apologie on the other thread you were so rude on. You can dish it out big time but when you reap what you sow you fall apart.

Does anybody realize the level of innanity revealed in this thread? After seeing more relevant and intelligently addressed threads shut down (a D'Aostino reliability discussion was shut down by the board monitors after the beloved Dan responded...a well discussed Magnapan issue...hmmm) I'm surprised a thread with perjurative (faggot...are people so stupid that they think that term is acceptable?) and utterly insulting base level comments is allowed. Spelling errors are expected as some here are merely uneducated lazy dimwits, but really...grow up ya ASSHATS.

You may want to appologize for your poor word choice "dumb little punk faggots." Statistically 10% of our Audiogon members are gay, and this may be offensive to some. It's even offensive to many straight people.

As far as the premise of this thread, at first I too thought is was a weak idea, to ask others to rate a rig based on a YouTube video, but it appears Slicric was not asking the public to comment on the sound. We all post our systems on the system pages ,and people comment on what the sound of the system may or must sound like. I'm sure most of the commentors have not heard all or even any of equipment mentioned. So his video is basically his system page. So really he is just asking for comments on his system which we all do.

A few people on here have the intellect of a small child and I can tell who they are. To respond to the comments they make will just incite more silly nonsense from them because Audiogon and the forums are their life and family. I pity the fools.

Reading through this thread, it seems like your estimate of a 'few' is a vast understatement, with you leading the parade.

In all seriousness, I had a really good belly laugh over that line. I don't approve of the language or spirit of that jab, but in all honesty, we all insult each other on these forums constantly. The language is usually more protracted and passive aggressive and cloaked in technobabble. I am guilty as anyone. The visceral and incisive statement above took many by surprise, but it was also cathartic. Distill the nitpicking and quibbling, and this is what you will often find.
