New Tweak --- Its Fantastic
THE NEW TWEAK
Over the good part of this past year I’ve been beta testing a new tweak, the name of which is "Total Contact." Its a hi-bred graphene contact enhancer that is different from all other contact enhancers that have come and gone for one reason or another. I’m not new to these contact enhancers, having had quite a bit of experience with a product developed by the late Brian Kyle and his "Quick Silver" contact enhancer. The "Total Contact" is different ... a LOT different.
"Total Contact" is graphene based and is not a vibration control. It eliminates micro-arching between two contacts. Micro-arching, much like Micro-vibration smears the sound in our stereo systems. Its the type of distortion that we don’t know is there .... until we eliminate it. There is no break-in as we know it. The sound is improved right off the bat, but what you hear is only a smidgen of what’s to come.
I tested three generations of "TC," each of which was an improvement over the previous incarnation. The final mix was cryogenitically treated and made for a more effective, much smoother application. It comes in a large hypodermic needle type plunger containing 1.5 ml of product and includes a instructional DVD and an application brush.
The application should be applied with a very thin coat to all of your electrical connections .... from your cartridge pins to your power cords. I did my entire system, including the ends of my fuses.
Upon initial application, you will notice an improvement in clarity, correctness of tonal balance and a more overall organic sound. But ... that is just scratching the surface of what this magic paste does. As it cures, the improvements become more apparent. Much more!
There are two real break-through events that happen almost to the day with "Total Contact," one at four weeks and another at eight weeks . At four weeks, you’ll get a real jump in clarity and overall improvement. That’s only a taste though of what’s to come at eight weeks. At eight weeks your system’s focus will make a jump in SQ that is so real - its surreal.
After 40 years in the hobby, and a total tweak nut, I have never heard anything that does what this graphene paste does. The see-through clarity at eight weeks becomes simply amazing. The "paste" eventually cures into a kind of polymer plastic and it seems that the sound improves with each listening session. So, its important that you leave your contacts alone for the duration. If you’re the type of person that continually switches wires in and out, you’ll have to re paste until enough time has elapsed to get "the cure."
The only problem I had was with the first batch and that had to do with shorting out a tube pin in the line stage. Use the "TC" very sparingly on tube pins, if at all. I only had problems with the line stage tube pins. The Amp, CD Player and Phono Stage has had no tube pin problems at all.
Tim Mrock, one of our fellow A’goners, is the developer of the product. Its taken Tim 15 years and several patents to get it right. Tim has "pasted" every electrical contact he can find in his audio system, all of the switches in his circuit breaker box, every contact in his car ... and has used it in commercial applications such as hospital circuit breakers, surgical lights ... and other places where efficiency and long life of electrical components are deemed important.
This product is highly recommended to anyone who truly wants to get the most out of his/her audio systems. There’s enough product in each tube to do at least two audio systems as it just takes a very thin coat on each application to be effective. The last tube was enough to do my system twice and then a friend’s system this past weekend.
Frank
PS: There were a couple of other A’goner beta testers of this product as well. Hopefully, they will chime in here with their experiences for comparison. I "pasted" both of Steve Fleschler’s systems a few days ago, perhaps he will comment on his results too. We forgot to paste Steve’s power cords though, so there’s a lot more to be had from Steve’s two fantastic systems.

Can anyone point out where "religion" was mentioned? It wasn't. "Religion" involves ritual. Was there any mention of facing east and praying five times a day? How about incense smoke and stained glass, any thing said about that? Any mention of stomping on a wine glass at weddings? Nope, no mention there either. The Spirit lives within each of us, within our heart of hearts. That has absolutely nothing to do with "religion." Nothing. The fact that a person has never tapped into it is their problem or lack of discovery, not mine, tommylion's or Tim's. The fact is, its not natural, its supernatural ... and that's why its so hard to identify ... especially to those with logical minds. Its hard to accept on faith that which is non-logical. There's an old saying: If you want to see the Spirit of God ... just look into the face of a young child. Scripture tells us that "what is hidden from the most learned is revealed to mere children." Simple, but so well hidden unless we seek it out. I have to laugh at the responses. Here we have guys who claim to be anti-religious spouting and touting their non-religious religion. *lol* Okay, I'm done. Back to the Total Contact and what it does to improve the SQ of our audio systems. :-) Frank |
That anybody follows religions is a head scratcher, but as long as they don't impose that stuff on others I simply don't care...you like Leprechauns? Than enjoy yer Leprechauns. My making a point about Atheism or Secular Humanists or standing against religions generally isn't hateful or vile or anything other than a response to an ill advised Jesus post that could be seen as offensive to Jews, Muslims, and athiests. That religions are generally dangerous requires only looking around the planet and seeing that the most religious places are generally the poorest and most violent. If you're religious, simply keep it to yourself and out of chat forums not related to mythology regarding deities, or somebody not sharing that view may upset your apple cart. Or do the Christian thing and turn the other cheek...love man...it's about love...right? Mythology regarding tweaks is normal. |
wolf_garcia"I’m an atheist who thinks ALL religion is silly and utterly dangerous" That is a hateful, bigoted, vile remark that reflects your ignorance but explains your incessant intolerant, judgemental and presumptuous remarks which you repeatedly post here with a self-centered pride that reveals profound character weakness you must be a very unhappy and unfulfilled person. |
lpretiring With apologies to everyone on this thread, I will make my final comment on the subject of the moment. I find it most interesting how people on both sides of the fence speak in absolute terms when IMHO no living human being has definitive proof of their belief. >>>>You’re even dumber than that Tommy dude. |
Tommy, are you stupid or something? I wasn’t attacking anybody’s religion, or mocking someone’s religious beliefs, whatever. I was mocking Frank - and by extension Tim - for using Jesus and devine inspiration to sell a product. Remember, Perfect Path? Hel-loo! I would think right minded religious folks would object, too. Get your facts straight before opening your yap. |
Let let me spell it out for you. You, of course, have the right to hold whatever views you want on religion. However, regardless of whether or not Frank was correct to reply to a question when the answer involved religion, making fun of, mocking, belittling etc., someone else’s beliefs on a public forum is the very definition of bigotry. It is also against forum rules. Decent people do not engage in this kind of behavior, regardless of their private views on said beliefs. That’s all I have to say on the subject. |
I was trying to help poor Geoffkait who seemed upset by a silly religious reference (because I hate it when he gets upset), and I didn't actually ask any questions. Also, there's nothing crass or bigoted about questioning what I regard as mythological nonsense when it's dropped like a Cleveland Steamer in an audio discussion, regardless of how invested you may be in the myth. |
lpretiring ... My response was in response to these two guys:
They asked the question. All I did is answer it. Frank |

wolf & geoff ... Nope ... The Perfect Path refers to a gentleman who walked the earth 2018 years ago and pointed out the "Perfect Path" for us to follow. Its the same gentleman who is divinely inspiring Tim Mrock to come up with these great products that have increased our joy in one of His greatest gifts to Mankind ... music. Frank |
Uh, guys, nanotechnology has been been around in audio for at least 15 years, especially the original Intelligent Chip (2005), the active ingredient of which was quantum dots, I.e., artificial atoms which, as their size suggests and as their explanation reveals, are the very definition of nanoscale. Not to mention WA Quantum Chips. Geez, has it been five years ago already? There are many audio products including CD treatments that employ nanotechnology, and graphene based contact stuff and even graphene cables. People just have not been paying attention. Nanotechnology is really after all is said and done just another buzz word, you know, like space age technology. 🚀 |
I am not affiliated with anyone here or the product. I recently got a tube of it and it is fantastic. It made an audible change in my system for the better (Server, Absolare, Marten Design). I used it on my HFC interconnects and speaker cable terminations on both ends. I wanted someone who has tested it to advise me on the following: 1. Is it safe to put on both ends of my power cable - the pins into the socket and the IEC pins into the component? 2. How careful do I need to be with coating the tube pins on my Absolare Integrated amplifier? Or is it best left alone.... 3. I also bought some SR Black Quantum fuses. Am I correct that these have already been coated? Thanks.... |
theaudiofreak ... Tom ... This is why I’ve been saying that Tim is really on to something here. Who would have believed that pasting the part that connects the cello to the floor would make a significant difference in sound quality? What do you suppose would happen if someone were to paste the entire interior of a cello or a violin? How about below the strings of a piano? Now I’m wondering what would happen if a series of Omega E Mats were placed on the entire bottom of the inside of a piano, just under where the strings are? Could an upright piano be brought into the realm of a Bösendorfer? Frank |
@folkfreak Can you expand on what you are communicating in the following: Ascribing all of these types of effects to one miracle tweak rather than taking care with many cumulative small adjustments is what really puts me off If more appropriate, feel free to PM me. I believe you are making an important point but I also want to respect the focus of this thread. In other words, a generic (not specific) "miracle tweak" so as to not be in conflict with Frank's thread. Thank you. - David. |
folkfreak ...
Believe me, it doesn’t tale much to put Fremer off. In addition, Fremer has never heard the improvements that TC and the Omega E Mats can provide. If he did, it would blow him away. Frank |
Frank, I tried an application of TC on the junction of 2 parts that screw together. Like on audio contacts there was a period of curing that both I and the cellist could hear. After 3 weeks we liked the improvement..seemed as if there was less noise returning from the floor thru the rod and onto the strings. The player said the bow was more responsive..so to me that meant an improvement of efficiency..Both of us thought there was a cleaner sound less odd order distortion. Many players need to remove one part from the other so just like in audio there would need to be a re application.. much more often than in an audio system. To me the application of TC to mechanical parts confirmed what I heard in my own high fi. Lower distortion. Always looking for an enhancement of my product line and TC could be used within a special version of my Acoustic Coupling Disc. TC in combination with other materials I now use would further reduce interfering energy. I will soon try the Omega Mat in conjunction with this new Acoustic Coupling disc as I designed the disc to be highly reactive. While my pins and discs are pricey and then perhaps add the Omega mat to the total, not many up and coming cellists could afford this beneficial formula. Though I have had the soccer mom type make a purchase for their Johnnie or Sue to give them a much added boost for a cello competition. Tom |
