New Eversolo DMP-A10

Anybody see this thing that recently launched? Eversolo DMP-A10 https://www.eversolo.com/Product/index/model/DMP-A10/target/%5Bld%5DyN%2BvBjptVBKKmVViAFMcQ%3D%3D.html#/ which is a step up from the A8, just like the A8 was a step up from A6.

It sells for $3680 which is an unusual number, but the A8 had a weird price too. That extra money gets a much more impressive, larger enclosure, better DAC section, better power supply, improved clocking, isolation for better signal purity, and a bunch of other tweaks for sound quality. Features are expanded too, with room correction being the main thing but there are some more little things too.

I'm a sucker for Eversolo and will definitely be picking this up at some point soon. I feel like if this was sold by another brand it would cost way more money.

If after reading others in this thread expressing their disappointment with Eversolo and you want to spend $4k go right ahead.  That's a lot of money .    Unfortunately you don't understand how important the streamer software is .  To go from a perfectly working unit to no USB is unacceptable.  Last FW introduced dropouts with Tidal and did not fix USB.   They are not seasoned developers over there.

There is a lot - well, mostly one guy - of complaining in the chat. And honestly, if I had his experience, I'd complain too.  I can afford to buy any streamer I want but, I wanted a one box solution with a well designed UI interface. All the reviews pointed to the Eversolo and I’m not disappointed. I’ve had zero issues and my wife and kids can use it easily. Frankly, I’m listening to more music than I ever did. Will cross the bridge on the outboard DAC at one point but for right now....

I just picked up a dealer demo DMP-A10 (with warranty) - I think one of the first ones on the secondary market. Paid $3k - which I though was an ok price since my A8 with the LPS-A8 Beatechnik power supply was $2,350. It arrives tomorrow, I’ll post my thoughts on the sound signature differences (AKM vs. Sabre DAC) after I listen and A/B compare. It will be connected to my Accuphase E-4000. I will also post some notes on how it compares to my previous reference digital source a Cary Audio DMS-700 (~$7k).

Same, I'm happy with both the A6 and the A8 in the places I use them, and plan on grabbing an A10 at some point soon as well. Curious to hear thoughts on how they compare.
