I think the SANDWICHES of shungite ( which is made of 60% of fullerene molecules like graphene for the lowest grade shungite and almost 90 % for the "noble" grade shungite) and the shielding copper, act in someway improving the direction of flow of information in the electro-magnetic field, making it more sensible because of a better oriented flux of the complex information , because making more coherent the electrons flowing rivers.... I say all that because science recently discover the power of graphene in this way... Please I am only speculating about the effect that my "golden" plates are making then I apologize for the rant....

I owned a low cost headphone for many years, the Fostex TH7B, first version( a new one close version exist Fostex TH7BK), semi-open headphone...I was never completely satisfied by any headphones I ever owned: Hifiman 400, Stax basic lamda, Stax 5 gold,Akg 340,Akg 701, beyerdynamic 990, and T150... Because in each of them with all their qualities I never listen to at the same times, a confortable headphone with natural timbre and voicing, with a good imaging and a realistic soundstage(not too close to my ears)...

I must correct my precedent post shungite is made of 60%/90% of carbon with traces of fullerene...The graphene is carbon made also... This mix of copper on one of the external face and carbon based materials inside seems to be the secret of my "golden" shungite plates... After many hours of listenings and some added plates small in my grid of stones and big on the router and Central electrical panel, the improvement is unmistakable...I also added some little shungite pyramids with copper on the 4 faces on power chord and on some of my Shumann generators... By the way, professional sceptics prohibited for this post here, the shungite pyramids (4) are in my refrigerator for one year now, and the fruits and vegetables are on a longer duration and keep fresh longer, and the refrigerator works better....The mother of my wife bought the same brussell sprouts than my wife attached to their natural stalk, same day together and same place.... His stalk were wasted and yellow after few days, my wife stalk of brussels sprouts were edible for a month( I know that because I eat the few last after a month and they were delicious)... After that I offer her some shungite pyramids and she observe a great improvement in his own refrigerator... Shungite is not only good if use correctly in audio it seems...Ok sceptics are welcome now for the next posts … :) |
I am listening the most original and musically rewarding files of Acoustical guitar I ever been acquainted to...This guitar sound like an orchestra... After 2 days of listening music, I can say that the "golden " plates act like lifting a veil that was muddying the sound... For me the noise floor of the electrical grid of the house is key to audio....The 5 golden plates I put on the central electrical panel with other stones already there, and at other locations in the house grid, are the most important means to controls in some way and filtering it in a passive way the general noise levels... Any electronic component introduce some trade-off noise, then any power conditioner for example filters the noise but with a price to pay: the price is the noise these electronic components introduce by themselves... Stones dont had electronic entrails... But keep in mind that these results are easily audible because I had already heavily modify the system and the room ... |

People resent the public ridicule, I am like some others for that even if I look like someone who dont cares... I will reveal one of my tweaks that it is useful to try only when your system is already very good an already optimally soundwise sensible, because the effect is there audible, but not so much in most of out of the box, uncleaned, and uncontroled audio systems and audio grids...... Buy 2 Himalayan salt lamps put them near the speakers and you will observe a more sparkling living sound... The light is beautiful, when the room is dark... The cost low, and the sound more gorgeous... Enjoy and if you are a lazy credulous self proclaimed " scientist" spare me sarcasms....If you are curious and investigative mind try it...Nothing to lost at worst case scenario only magnificent light at the end... |
My last discovery of shungite "golden " plates is an astounding improvement...Many of these plates are on the main electrical house breakers panel... But there is shungite plate big or smaller, and also shungite thin cell plate at other locations and cube or pyramidal shungite...It is very important to tape the copper tape on the 4 faces of the pyramid for example to let nude side only, the basis, on top of my 2 Shumann Generator for example, or the golden face of the thin plate glued on top of some end plug power cable...There is more photos illustrating that on "my system" section... This gives a more refine effect from the cleaning or filtering shungite... |
Let them not touch the horizontal antenna of the S.G. and cover the 4 faces of the pyramid with copper tape....If they are cube let the basis nude also...If they are cell phone thin plate cover one side with copper tape... Verify if they are genuine shungite because some ebayers sell fake shungite...The true source of shungite is a deposit in Russia-Ukraine not in US or Spain...If they are cell phone thin plate they are probably guenine shungite… The profit on that is to low to fake them I think...But beware for the bigger chunk... |
I must say that in my heavily modified audio system the audible effect of gluing the copper on top of the shungite plate is immediately audible anywhere I put them, even on top of the S.G. or the router-modem etc... I think that this golden tape of copper act like giving an orientation to the "field filtering effect" of the shungite….I speak here "metaphorically" to describe and communicate what I think about that, this not science neither an explanation by any means nor in any way... There is another metaphorical explanation : It is not only placebo effect, but I think my wife gives me LSD.... :) |
I am almost sure they are guenine, no profit possible in faking that and most of the shungite selling is these cell phone protecting stones, they are innumerable in the us and anywhere... ….The fake one are bigger chunk, or the "noble or elite " variety ...For big plate it is better to order from Russia... |
My 2 golden pyramis on top of the S.G. gives a new clarity, unheard of in my system... I am a bit surprize each time... At the beginning I treat 5 shungite plates with the copper tape and they were put at the same location were they was already before the copper taping, on top, or glued to the side panel of the main breakers panel... The effect immediately audible was comparable with these 2 shungite pyramids+copper on top of the 2 S.G. ( had 4 usb S.G. and 2 powered by 2 supplies)… How in the world 2 pyramids of shungite+copper suspended on top of an S.G. antenna can give so much better clarity then imaging? ( By the way I dont think that the fact that they are pyramids or cube or plate change something, this is not the form that act but the shungite mass carbon around 60% in the less pure shungite, 90% in the "elite" variety + plus the shielding effect of the copper tape that gives somewhat an orientation to the "field stone effect" metaphorically speaking, it is not science by any means) Some other stones were also there near the S.G. and cabled to be linked to my entire grid stones, is this the reason ? I dont know and I dont want to disconnect all my grid of stones to know...But I think without any link the "golden" shungite plate works on the central breaker panel on the modem-router and on some other interconnect or unused duplex plug, then the power of the stones is there, linked to the other stones or not.... I think the fact they are linked improve the effect that is already there that’s all... geoffkait if you had bought thin cell phone plates, place the side with copper tape added (instead of the product adhesive)"up", the nude shungite side " down" on the 4 capacitors near the usb connection of the S. G. … Try that … My best to you... I think it is the best spot, but I need to try under the antenna, taping it at the center, the shungite side up and the copper side down... Perhaps better I dont know yet...The placement I suggest first is effective then I had not think about any another possibility before this post … try the 2 and report if you want...... |
A good place to put my "golden" plate, for those who read this post and listen music from a computer external disk storing their files, is on top of the usb connection coming in the computer from the disk, the copper tape side always "up" the shungite side always down on the usb connector.... Like someone said: " I dont recognize my old files nor my old cds" The effect of the "golden plate" are cumulative, with each one I add...It is spectacular, not because the effect is spectacular(except for the 5 plates on the breakers panels) but because it is audible and cumulative, difficult to understand with the ears why the sound is beginning to be always more "natural"... Then I ordered 4 thin cell plates for my other 3 Shumann Generator and 2 other interconnect... Recall I have two usb Schumann devices the size of your little finger. Today I read an article about a top of the line dac, with a price in the many thousands...My reflexion was, how in the world can I have faith in any description of any reviewer comparing dac ? For sure he was right about the dac, this is a good one, but how to be sure of any comparison when no system is the same, and most people, even reviewers, trust any costly gear more than their own capacity to modify the audio environment with their own ears for their privileged measure apparatus...Need nothing else... I know for a fact in my own journey that controlling vibrations, treating the room, and cleaning the electrical grid of the house and decreasing the noise floor of the audio system has more impactful effect more than any upgrade, be it a dac or an amp, or even new speakers... My system is good without any of my homemade tweaks, but like I already said I did not loved him in the beginning, but my dac, my amp, and my speakers were carefully choosen by me and are very good gear (mid-fi for sure but very good)… The transforming effect by all these homemade tweaks made me falling in love with them... Then my reflexion is truly this: Most of us already own very good gear, trust me what is lacking is not an upgrade piece, but only the methods, means, tweaks, knowledge which made us able to transmute our own audio system...All that was unknown to me 7 years ago when I begins to buy pieces of audio, and i was always unsatisfied all the way long till I takes things in my hand... I apologize to the reader for repeating that, but if I can help one to change his way taking the right direction, without spending thousand dollars of money in upgrade I will be happy... |
wow! Definitely the way to go for my thin "golden" shungite plates are on the S.G. …. a small piece has an amazing effect on details, and dynamic then a way better imaging... I must lower even the sound volume pot....I listen in nearfield for the time being :) 5 of my 6 S.G. has now a "golden" plate of shungite( around 10 grams) and the effect is in the same level than with my 5 "golden" tiles of shungite on the central breakers panel (250 gram at least each one)... |
The last "golden plate" on the last Schumann Generator has been installed... The results: a more ethereal, dynamic, clear,imaging, with no negative effects whatsoever audible by me at least... I dont know the scientific explanation for that, the S. G. are all linked together and to my stones grid but there is no cable linking the stones to the audio system, except the near location of the stones themselves... The shungite+copper tape is the most potent of my tweaks, it is more an instrument to decrease the noise level than a tweak...On top of each of the 4 capacitors on each S. G. the "golden" plate push the sound toward a sublime road if I compare to the same system of mine in the beginning not even 2 years ago, when my direction of action and research begins to be more systematic because my hearing understanding was better... Learning the way of a discrimating hearing attitude is simply that : listening for yourself without putting faith in any other thing that your ears...No apparatus can coordinate all elements, including the vibrations controls methods, with the room acoustic, with each pieces of the audio system in itself, with the electrical grid of the room and of the house and all that together... All this must be remedied or corrected gradually each steps at a time simultaneously... No instrument exist that can make all that in one fell swoop... In some way everything happen as if your ears must learn to replace the electrician, the audio engineer, the acoustician, and their costly products by simple improvised and inspired creative gestures transformed with the help of your ears in practical simple homemade solutions...If I had the money I would had consulted these 3 specialists and the photos of my system would have looked like very different than what you see now... But audio is not about looks, but about sounds quality... And my thread is not for the people who can pay anything for themselves, but for the "relatively poor" who think they cannot afford true Hi-Fi heaven... Or for those simply who wanted the fun to play and experiment at low cost... The last question is how my system is being compared to others? This is not the right question even if it is a good one... The right question is : Is your audio system nearer now to his true potential top qualities? The last question is how my system sound is, being compared to others? To answer that I will say that my actual system is mid-fi at most... But at this level, favorably compare probably because of this implementation of his actual potential...I had listen to other system I like less that are slightly better theorically... But they are too many factors to compute to fairly compare many systems, essentially the particularities of these 4 factors: vibrations controls and resonance including the cables, electrical grids of rooms and houses, and acoustical atmosphere of the room, plus the embeddings particular to each link of the audio system with the others... If I dream about my ideal affordable system and compare with my actual one in price : Sansui Au 7700 amplifier versus Berning ZOTL integrated amplifier ( 150 dollars versus 6 thousand dollars for the 20 watts integrated) Dac Nos tda 1543 of C. Mariac ( paid 25 dollars new bought on ebay versus the Denafrips terminator for 4 thousands dollars) My Speakers Mission Cyrus 781 paid 50 dollars versus Tannoy Harbeth M30 4 thousand dollars.... My actual system cost was so low I dont want to add the numbers versus 14 thousand dollars... I am sure this will be an upgrade... But think about it, I would reinstall almost all my actual tweaks and controls methods, not exactly in the same location... But the room , the house and the connectors, the resonators, the Shumann generators, the vibrations controls, the homemade room treatment, even the grid of stones with modifications linked to the particular sound quality of this system would go on... |
For those fond of explanation turning around the "placebo effect", I can assure you that the placebo effect is not enough potent to explain my experience... We can call that "super placebo effect"... I just make a test, taking off only one stone which is under one of the 6 Shumann generator, a beautiful oval chunk of Hetian Jade, the imaging was instantaeously modified, a slightly but very audible change, linked to the power of Jade or nephrite to add some more differentiated velvety atmosphere between each instrument in a musical piece... For those of you that think that this is a degradation of sound, perceived like an added "color"... I will say that this is the IMAGING which is affected here, not the naturalness of the timbre of the instrument... The "imaging" is a complex quality concept that exist only if you had a great amount of clarity in your system, the less noise sources possible, and the more natural is the rendering of timbre the better you will distinguish the aural timbre and location of 2 violin, an alto, and a cello in a quatuor, instead of a pudding of confusing strings... Perhaps the drug in my coffe also explained a bit that (I added some almond milk to it) .... :) |

I apologize for this copy/ paste post of mine and my excuse is also some corrections were added for clarity ... «Contrary to the popular faith that because hearing decrease with age, (which is true off course), the opinion that the capacity and the power to discriminating listenings by self education of the ears with music must decrease also, is false... The perception of sound is complex and only simple mind think that it is only function of frequencies direct perception... On the contrary at any age man can educate his own ears... Creating your own audio system without discriminating ears is difficult in fact impossible,then the only one solution is using money to buy reputation and high quality ready made at high cost... Without money, if you learn to listen, creating a great hi-fi for peanuts is possible... I made it... Rule number 1: Almost all electronic gear are on these 3 levels of quality...Be it 3 levels in S.Q./ price ratio: low-fi, mid-fi, high-fi...Inside each level the difference are way less linked to the product " per se" and way more linked to his particular implementation, his qualitative embedding in your audio system, and room and electrical house grid , way more than any upgrade on the same level with a different piece of gear... You must buy after searching for the best possible something in one of these 3 categories of gear and you keep it, this is the first rule (no upgrade ). When I say that almost all gear on a same level are on par approximatively for quality compared to a higher level or to a lower one, I only affirm that nevermind the difference which exist on the same level, a good amplifier being a good one, changing it will cost you big money, but tweaking it toward his improving potential will cost you way less and will be more rational and more fun... I can say that most people indeed dont know the true quality level of the gear they already owns. The reason is simple, controls of vibration, treatment of the room, cleaning the noise in the electrical grid gives you most of the times an S.Q. out of this world compared to an upgrade with an hyped new product, especially if you buy it in the same level of quality among the 3 possible... Rule number 2 You treat the electric grid of your house Rule number 3 You controls with different experiments the vibration-resonance in the gear and room Rule number 4 You use your ears and a small step at a time you treat your room for sound Rule number 5 You read and inform yourself about tweaks that you replicate or invent yourself after listening session in your system and after 2 or 3 years your system will be top level at the least cost... mahgister I read your list of equipment that you bought for little money and was nodding my head in agreement with you. I've taken great care to reduce noise and vibration from the system to an amazing extent and results. When my $10,000 CD player went kaput, I happened to be in a thrift store looking for used CDs, when my eye caught a Kenwood CD player. The clerk let me test it out, and I thought ... what the heck, its only ten dollars, so why not give it a try. Well, I took it home, took the lid off and treated everything inside, including the entire underside of the lid with PPT's Total Contact. Then, I placed it on some PPT Omega mats. Then, the VPI brick went on top of the unit. To say that I was shocked, would be an understatement. For ten dollars, the sound I got was close to the 10k unit it replaced. Not as extended in the extremes, but entirely enjoyable none the less. At the present time, I'm using a used Pioneer Elite DVD player that has been modified with upgraded caps and the PPT Total Contact treatment. This has resulted in a real giant killer and in many ways, it outperforms the 10k player that still sits on the "reserve" shelf waiting for repairs. Once repaired, it will be sold, and I will keep the Pioneer Elite DVD player. Total investment in the Pioneer Elite DVD player, modifications included? $300.00. Take care ... Frank |

One day I will try the Omega technology for sure...But I must wait for the money I dont have because I am retired of active life...In the meantime try "my golden plate", cost : 10 dollars each... A few minute of work to make them (copper tape on one side of a shungite plate around 250 grams) 5 of those on the breaker box improve the sound amazingly and you can use cell phone golden shungite plate on interconnects etc( few grams)... I am curious to compare with your experience of many tweaks and products...My idea are free, the only obligation is to report the results...Honestly I think I have designed some Omega tech. for the poor, not equivalent but certainly not too far away in S.Q. from your product of choice, but this I dont know and cannot know, I am only supposing that waiting for reports...... millercarbon I dont play with the ground, I put the "golden" plates on the location described in my posts...They are photos of some of the plates in the "virtual systems" section... The copper tape is self adhesive and must be put on 1 side of the shungite plate... The only explanation I can give to myself is some which is not scientific at all. The copper concentrate and orient the action of the shungite field in one direction... You place the shungite face toward the interconnect, the unused wall plug or any unused plug on the power conditioner for example, or on touch with the exterior of the breaker panel ( it is not necessary to put the plates inside it)... The copper face must be at the exterior opposite side evidently and in some way isolate … The active component is the shungite, the passive copper made the shungite effect more potent without negative side effect...It is my experience... But remember that I create this tweak only a week ago, and that my system is already heavily tweaked, but always with homemade products and low cost easily available one (except the Schumann generators that I modified tough) … The only 2 tweaks I bought ready made worked but does not impress me and cost me almost the total price of a great part of my cheap homemade tweaks that works with way more audible corrected, fixable and alterable effects because they are adaptable....If I had bought these 2 ready made tweaks new, I would have paid 600 dollars...I never again try to buy ready made, I prefer to replicate...Most of the times we can... A true audiophile has faith in his ears, not mostly their analytic capabilities, those declined with aging, but first and last in the evolution of his personal hearing learning process in the precise situation or "locus" of his own room... He is not a bat, but his 2 ears are like aging bats focusing on details, his brain is learning to adapt and to perceive, in spite of some holes, the recreated whole that we call music...What I call tweaks are there not only to compensate and correct my own hearing deficiencies, but also the deficiencies of my room, house and gear in a continuous process called learning... It is an another day after introducing 2 other golden plates … All my Schumann generators are covered with one...With each one an incremental increase is experienced audibly because of the new details perceived with files I know by heart, my attention being conveyed to new dimensions of the musical piece.... I waited for some other plates that will complete the task... My conclusion is the effect of a few grams shungite one side covered with copper is an amazing ratio S.Q/ price...And it is cumulative...It makes no doubt in my mind that stones or crystals owns amazing properties able to affect the E.M field grid of the room and the house and of the gear... How in the world a cheap usb powered Schumann Generator(10 bucks) with only one plate of a few grams of shungite on top of his capacitors can modify the acoustic of a room and the way the musical sound is conveyed and the imaging is produced, perhaps like a prism magically evoking a rainbow ? How in the world is it possible otherwise because of these unknown capacity of the stones to modify any body near it like iron modify the information field of the body ? This no science, I am not a scientist, these are only dreams about some miracles we lives by... |
Ok I am not medically confirmed nuts, but I am surely... I already have a piece of cubic shungite on top of the main wall duplex plug where are connected my main audio+ quartz and tourmaline... I decide suddenly, because my music files are so sublime in my new golden plated audio system, I decided suddenly in an impulse, to apply the copper tape on 4 of the 6 faces of this cube that is against the duplex sitting on one of the power chord of the power conditioner, the other chord in the other duplex plug being a cheap electrical strip where I had put many stones and where all my computer and external drive are connected already... The improvement were immediately audible, reinforcing all the aspects of the sound that were already improving with my other experiments... Viva "golden" plates! note: I apply the copper on 4 of the 6 sides because one nude side is against the duplex and the other sit on the power chord...The copper sides are in the empty external direction... In the Russian research the scientist has identified a kind of sphere of action proportional to the mass of the shungite… The shungite act not only very near, but in a little sphere of almost one feet for this cube, then the effect of the cube touch the 2 duplex plugs and not only the one where the cube touch it... |
I just put 2 ( 200 grams) shungite "golden" plates behind the back of each of my Mission speakers, behind the driver taped on top of the connectors...Increase in the bass clarity, and the imaging better....In fact increased improvement all across the board after 1 hour of listening... Miracles at a cheap cost and free for all "poor" audiophile to use... Only report here... Thanks to those and my best to all... |
Immediately after adding another "golden plate" behind each speakers, where there is already one on top of the connectors, now one under then just under the first one, I listen an improvement all across the board again... My plate are free, I sell nothing, they cost peanuts compared to any other audiophile products...No one has dare to try one.... Too cheap to be true it seems...Some resin on that and I would sell them many hundred each one...Will you give a try for the cost of shungite and a few bucks for copper tape? I had now "golden" plates between 200 and 300 grams and a dozen of thin plate of few grams in my system on connectors or on my S.G. ... My best to all... |
A modification on my 4 " golden" plates behind speakers that help to refine more the effect of this amazing location for the plates is: I glued with blu-tak an Herkimer diamond in contact with the shungite up border side... In the 4 plates …. Improve and refine the "golden" plates amazing power immediately audible in the imaging rendition of the speakers.... My best... Herkimer diamond always enhance any other stones power.... |
I just add a photo of the "golden" plate+ Herkimer diamond, in my "virtual system" page.... It is more than a little enhancement...It is more like a real upgrade of the "golden" plates action... I added the H. D. only for those plates I had put behind the speakers.... But in the near future it is worth a try with the other plates on the breaker panels....I must wait to buy some new H. D.
