In person it is a massive beauty. I would be happy to own one.

The MC462 is one of the better values in audio today. It is a powerhouse with a lush sound. The best resale in the industry!

I had a C70 and Mc462 in a second system, but the room was too small, the speakers were too big. I sold the entire system starting over with SET. However, the 462 is a very powerful and smooth amp that I thought had excellent synergy with the C70 McIntosh tube pre-amp. The amp is overkill in a small room and really deserves room to show what it can do. I think it compares very favorably with the 611s so the price is not out of line.

Does anyone know how to construct a sentence or punctuate anymore? That's my question.

I used to have McIntosh and the 462 is a nice amp. I moved away from McIntosh based on preferences. 
 

Is it worth the price tag….  you must decide that and the resale value of my gear was higher than I expected. 

It is totally up to you weather the price is worthwhile.
