You got it too! If someone goes and jumps in the lake, I may or may not follow. However, audio mags just don't interest me. I'd rather play. |
Csontos,Geoff thinks he is the Great Gazoo! |
Dr. Smith found some brilliant pebbles of sorts on lost in space once. I think t was called cosmonium. Turned out he was scammed. |
Why are you putting down the Great Gazoo? He's everybody's hero, isn't he? Now Dr. Smith is a different story. Wouldn't surprise me if he is Geoff's mentor. |
Too funny,Geoff got cosmonium from his mentor Dr.Smith,,who was scammed,,,, called them brilliant pebbles and offers to sell them (and many other interesting items)to Audiophiles on Earth! Robot"Danger Earthlings Danger!" Geoffs first product ,The Nimbus Unipivot Sub-Hertz Isolation Platform. The Nimbus was so tricky to construct and set-up ,that it was virtually impossible to duplicate! Went from the Nimbus to cutting pieces of copper foil into simple shapes he calls ,,flying saucers.OK! |
At least Geoffs prices are realistic. His cousin from Sweden at coconut audio has a digital IC the adria for 100,000.00.Even made with Belden cable.Sell one a year and make a good living! |
"Oh, the pain, the pain!" Dr. Smith or GK? |
Coconut Audio recently offered to barter a pair of his high level cables for a working watch and some food. |
Maybe Coconut is Geoff's high-rent alter ego? One sale there = many MD sales. |
Look, the Cosmonium did make Dr. Smith's stone monument/statue he made of himself come to life! Then it wanted more to stay alive! Gotta love Irwin Allen!
Oh the pain, the pain!!!! |
Coconut Audio recently offered to barter a pair of his high level cables for a working watch and some food. |
Actually I think his alter ego is Narcissus. But he seems to be careful not to stare into the pool for too long. Hindsight is 20/20 after all. My goodness, could it be that Geoff is Dr. Smith's mentor?!!! I believe we've come full circle. Batten down the hatches; Poseidon is about to take us on a serious dive into the abyss! |
Have any of you tried these Machina Dynamica "products"?
I haven't followed this thread too fully, but I always say the proof of the pudding is in the eating. You can theorise all day long but until someone has given it a go its all hot air isn't it?
Maybe I will give one a shot and report back. Then once and for all we can say if there is something in it or not. I am not a fan of all talk and no trousers. |
Chad,Go ahead and try the pudding. |

Poll - Which movie does this thread most remind you of?
A. 12 Angry Men
B. Revenge of the Nerds
C. Close Encounters of the Third Kind
D. Rochelle Rochelle
E. Awakenings

Which movie does it remind you of Geoff, Liar Liar? Whew, eh? |
Geoff, may be feeling beat up on and Ronery . |

Since you ask, Pleasantville. |
How about a. Analyze this
b. Austin Powers - International man of mystery
c. The man with two brains
d. The nutty professor
e. True lies |
Geoff,You can wrap it up any way you like. But,,,its just so hard not to make fun of MD.Little copper flying saucers taped to your window !Sometimes I feel bad that I make fun of your products. But everytime I see an ad like the flying saucers(or clocks, pebbles,,,)I dont feel bad.Sorry.But even the best joke gets stale after a while. So until you come up with a new product ,I am going to try to stop laughing at MD. |
I don't own any Machina Dynamica products. But, I have no problem with the seller. Let me explain.
1166 sales. (2) neutral feedbacks. All the rest positive.
Check out Vpatel on Audiogon:
386 sales. (2) neutral feedbacks. (9) negatives - many on big ticket items.
See if you can guess which seller I'll never buy from? |
I didn't want to do it but I'm pulling out the big guns.
A. Contact
B. Lawrence of Arabia
C. One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest
D. Paranormal Activity
E. Invasion of the Body Snatchers
F. Dawn of the Dead
G. Groundhog Day
H. Cannibal Holocaust |
Well that makes perfect sense, doesn't it. Fantasy morphing into reality. Except for one thing. You may have overlooked that it didn't really happen. |
"1166 sales. (2) neutral feedbacks. All the rest positive."
I've seen that. It is an interesting metric to consider! The only thing I could say with certainty about it is its surely a part of how MD stays in business. Also that it probably has a lot to do with what people think about their purchase and what people think does not always match the facts. I've bought a lot of useless crap over the years, especially when younger, and had no complaints except perhaps much later in hindsight. Just saying.... |
You forgot Mullholland Drive. |
A bell , thats a good one , LOL . |
Tm,
Not just a bell, a QUANTUM TEMPLE BELL!!!!!!!!!!
Get with the program!
QUANTUM + TEMPLE gotta = TECHNO_SPIRITUAL HEAVEN!!!!

Lost Highway would be more like it. |
MD makes me feel ronery. Why am I so F---- stupid? |
Mapman, the 'Ronery' link was hilarious. The best laugh I've had in a while.
I don't know how we could forget "Plan 9 from outer space". I can picture Ed Wood (GK) behind the partion wall with the flying saucer (tweak) hanging from a stick. The MD ads carry about the same authenticity as the movie. |
"Team America" is a hilarious movie! Much like our friend GEoff!
Two standout scenes I recall:
1) The "Ronery" SOng 2) The puppets getting it on
Of course its by the guy behind SOuth Park, so do not expect any holds barred or political correctness! My apologies to any who might find the stereotyping there offensive. If you can't handle Cartman from South Park, this movie is not for you. |
Mapman, help me out. I'm a little confused, not being familiar with Team America. When you use the word ronery am I correct in assuming it's jibber jabber for the word horny? And if so have you tried a long cold shower? |
"When you use the word ronery am I correct in assuming it's jibber jabber for the word horny? And if so have you tried a long cold shower?"
You would be incorrect with that assumption.
Watch the movie. You'll get it.
I might try a long cold shower anyhow. |
Use the clickable link from Mapman's post on 3/4/13. It should be clear to you then. You may still feel ronery after watching it. |
I assume these products are all a joke at the expense of totally gullible audiophiles. Am I wrong? Have the magnetic poles of sanity reversed? |
I don't know about the poles reversing but now some think the universe is actually two dimensional and it's something akin to a hologram projection that we live in. Two dimensions make it much easier to relate to and compute in and is gaining favor in scientific circles.
All the best, Nonoise |
It's all about vibrations. |
I'm getting bad vibrations. |
