Thank you to everyone for the great feedback. I really appreciate it. A lot to think about.
Integrated amp for Proac D2
My first post here. I have some Proac D2s with the dome tweeter. I use an old NAIM Nait XS that I bought used many years ago to drive the speakers. I like the amp, but I am ready for something new. I know the topic of different Proac speakers and amps has been visited many times, but I would appreciate your input on a good match for my speakers. To start with, any thought on the new Cyrus integrated amps? The Marantz Model 30? I have a decent budget for the new amp - $2,5000 up to $5,000. Lower end is better, at least that is what my wife thinks. Thanks for your help.
We sell a lot of great integrated amplifiers we sell the naim hegel anthem unison research synthesis atoll coda and others
the coda csib is the best sounding integrated below 10k the coda csib is an outstanding deal it is a coda.8 amplifier which sells for nearly the same price as the integrated so you are getting a good preamp basically for free with the integrated
the csib ca grow with your system as it can be re-biased to provide 150-400 watts per channel:

i had a belles aria (non sig model) and i agree it adds a dose of brightness in its presentation of the music... it is a bit cheaper than the kinki unit used (but not by much, a few hundred bucks) but i personally feel the kinki produces a more refined, sophisticated sound and has more sonic headroom than the aria, while delivering a similar forward-treble-with-somewhat-recessed-midrange kind of tonal balance that some systems can benefit from |
+1 @twoleftears Johnny R knows his stuff and will give you the straight poop. And Belles makes some excellent amplifiers. Agree to give him a call. |
proac response series (and their successors including the d-series) are very well known to be highly synergistic with audio research tube amps, so you may want to try an arc integrated model, of which there are several out there used, older ones are well depreciated now (though still by no means inexpensive) and newer ones are very very good but pricey |
