Input output cable question

I have the Aurender N10 and a DAC that support the AES/EBU 110 ohm cable.

I am using the 75 ohm coax connection.

Is there a sound quality difference between them?

Galvanic isolation will be best.  As to specific input, each manufacturer has their own fav.  Chord’s Rob Watts the designer generally recommends optical input as it offers best performance and isolation.

Couple good optical cables out there.  I use a Wireword Supernova 7 it utilizes 338 Borosilicate glass fiber optic conductors.

Thanks for the cable suggestions.

To the person stating cables make no difference.  Maybe to you. But I have seen Wow moments in cable changes. So, either you have a huge system with huge (great) cables already or you have a system that cannot resolve the differences.

I am using a Transparent Reference $2.6K. It is excellent in between Premium $1k and XL $5K. Given your streamer… I would consider the Premium.

I’m using a decent USB cable because the person I spoke with at Aurender said my N200 was designed to give its best sound quality using USB.  Having said that,  I have never tried Coax.

Any hints of what I should get for a cable?  Favorites?

I see pricing from $200 to $6000.

I love to buy used expensive cables for more than 1/2off.

Should be a little bit better sound quality and the connector itself is much beefier and snaps in and locks.  Worth it just for that...

I have a Aurender W20SE and the output of the AES is subtly better… keeping the quality of the interconnect the same.

Hi Bill - for the most part, with Aurender, the AES/EBU should give you better performance.  If in doubt, try borrowing one from The Cable Company and determine for yourself.

I am sure this question came up before.  Can somebody direct me to the discussion here?
