I found a way to get around tariffs that will raise the price of audio equipment. What is your solution?

Yes I am serious and this will work. Much talk has been created about sitting down and enjoying the music... finally. Even more discussions about the ever ending quest for better gear vs just enjoying the gear you now own.

So that's what I will do. I am not buying new gear. I will enjoy the music now.

Look at it from our point of view.  What you posters who are justifying talking politics just don't seem to understand is that you are soul shattering boring to tears.  Regurgitating what we can read anywhere.

One likely supposition is that no one in your personal lives gives a rat's a*s to listen to you so you have nowhere else to express your opinions.

nonoise, yes, but it was retaliation on your part. Could you respond differently, especially if you believe that those people have certain difficulties ?

I say again….

Back to regularly scheduled programming.

How will you avoid the higher costs of audio gear associated with tariffs?

New or used gear?

Returning to the original subject, I too am not going to buy anything significant in the near future, either audiophile or not. I am just going to save what I can, there is a lot of uncertainty. Hopefully the dollar value will hold, more or less.

Just spent $500 on NOS matched quad tubes to have a spare set. Couldn't resist, and these tubes are going more and more difficult to find. Tubes are like batteries in a sense, you must have them when you need them. Oh, I better go buy some batteries too, by the way, for my high end flashlights and couple of remote controls.

@inna

I wasn't aware of these "difficulties" you speak of. Just from reading the many posts he made, clearly articulated and full of venom betrayed no "difficulties" that I could discern.

As for buying anything, I'm done as well. I just received a watch from Sweden with no problems but as soon as April 2nd, all bets are off which is a shame as I just read a great review on the Vinshine Audio Tai Hang DC blocker that replaced the Furutech he was using at a cheaper price and had much better results.

Guess I'll have to wait for that one.

All the best,
Nonoise
