Have you heard the new Beatles in Mono, Capitol releases?

It seems that yet another Beatles Mono box-set is about to be released - 1964 US Albums (In Mono).  This project includes the first six Capitol US releases, plus a double-LP "The Beatle's Story" release of commentaries by the band.

Some worry that LPs produced from the Capitol mono-tapes may not sound as good as the British counterparts (produced from EMI mono-masters).

Has anyone had the opportunity to hear this set?  Thoughts about SQ, or anything else?

I fell in love with stereo when I was about 15.  Honestly, I am not interested in mono at all.

$300 per year this time? Goes with the times.

This will be a bargain compared to a Rolling Stones per year at $300 per.
