Has anyone herd the Hegel h390

I was looking at preamps and one place offered me the Hagel h390 integrated Amp and  hegel v10 phono preamp for 3500 dollars and trade in of my Bryson 4 B Amp. Now has anyone herd this integrated Amp and experienced it. I have to go and listen to it and decide. Is it has clean and warm and detailed as the salesmen told me. I am looking for some input before I go drive 10 hours round trip. I would like to get feed back from anyone who has one or has herd one Thank You Michael.

Try searching Hegel and 390 on this Audiogon forum.  You might get one or two hits....

we are a hegel dealer  hegels are not warm they are clean articulate and punchy

if you love a clean articulate sound get a hegel

I own the Hegel H390, and I can tell you that it is an incredible sounding unit.  I us it as an amp/ preamp only.  It's not overtly warm, nor is it overtly neutral, either.  The H390 is extremely powerful with an extremely high damping factor so it will easily drive most any speaker.  The H390 is a beautifully natural sounding integrated.  The H390 and my Ayre Acoustics QX-5 Twenty DAC makes for an astonishingly beautiful sounding combination!!!

What preamp are you using with the Bryston?  What improvements would you like to achieve over what you have now.  What turntable/cartridge do you have?

If you like clean, clear and articulate, Hegel is for you.  I would not be shocked if you like Hegel coming from Bryston.  What Model 4B is your Bryston?  Are you trading for a new or used Hegel?   Quality of the deal depends on those factors.
