DH labs versus audio quest, HDMI

Why no one really talks about noise dissipation and directionality benefits is unclear.

Seems resolution is provided by most of these high-end cables.  The real issue of concern is how well sound is impacted by the cables.

It all comes down to noise dissipation and no one talks about this. 

Further you need to have a very good system to discern Quality differences between the cables. Ie. A very revealing system.  I have an older system end it makes no difference the level of hdmi Cable quality i use.  
 

To me it's truly absurd to spend more than a few hundred dollars on an HDMI cable and even this is very high because we deal with a market of overpriced goods.

For what it's worth, the Audio Envy O'nestian XLR beat the AQ carbon 48 I2s connection in my system with more sonic weight and a wider out of the speakers soundstage.

Since many places e.g. The Cable Company, let you try several brands and only keep the one you like best, why risk your money on what someone else says -which is really specific to their system?

so, you would like us to provide some confirmation bias to substantiate your cognitive bias so you can buy the cables you were going to buy and feel real warm and fuzzy about it..

I really like the new AQ 48 series, they are way better than my older AQ Vodka and Coffee HDMI. I use them as the I2S connections.

DH Labs Silver interconnects. My AQ King Cobras are nearby, but not needed.

I've used DH Labs speaker and interconnect cables for over 20 years and got off the cable merry-go-round.  Great cables and great price.  I would trust their HDMI cable to also be great.

I was disappointed when testing a $400+ Audioquest Vodka cable.  This made sense after I found out it uses very small 30awg conductors.  Audioquest does some things good, but they missed the boat on the HDMI cables.

If you want a really nice cable for a low cost, the Pangea Premier HD23PC SE HDMI cable from Audio Advisor is a good choice.  It is not the highest resolution cable, but it is very forgiving for bad source electronics (such as AppleTV and other streamers).  It presents a nice smooth sound.

The Kimber HD19e may be a good cable as well, since it uses larger silver-lated 25awg conductors.  Cardas HDMI maybe too.

I've compared  Wire World AQ's Mocha and the DH labs silver sonic , the DH labs came out on top for both video and audio. I Recently got the newer hybrid optical hdmi and can't recommend it enough as I went back and replaced all the silver sonics save one 1mtr.

The dh labs silver sonic HDMI cable at 1 m is about Half the price of audio quest carbon a HDMI for 219.

Or is silver sonic comparable to the audio quest cable which I believe is cinnamon for about half the price?

Very strange audio quest only offers 48 gig HDMI cable is at this point which isn't the end of the world.

Audio quest has directionality which seems to be regarded favorably. No clue what this means but sounds cool

Maybe I buy from Amazon and return it which is nice audioquest does this.

I don't know about HDMI but I use DH labs interconnect cables exclusively.

DH labs great cable great price im using 2 for my  video machines to Sony tv.

I liked the DH Labs Silversonic better than AQ. 

If it's for i2s get one made for it. Revelation Prophecy. I did.
