Chinese "Audiophile" Fuses

Fuses are made of conductive material. that said, I wouldn't trust these to blow at the designated current.  I've often thought one of the reasons audiophile fuses sound better is because they are at the top end of the tolerance.  

Frankly, I doubt there is much if any graphene used.

and nobody ever tests what current they blow at since they are so expensive.

I don't think the fuse blowing protection is the purpose of those fuses.

Probably sound quality is the goal. In which case just adding a slug instead of a fuse would suffice. That is why I use the SDFB it provides the slug (graphene) and breaker protection.

@ozzy Have you compared the fuse against using only the slug? Does the addition of the SDFB improve the sound? Or is it only for protection?

Sadly, you usually get what you pay for.

Funny you asked this question. Yesterday, I did run my AQ Dragon power cord directly without the SDFB. Just the graphene slug installed.

Now to me, it seemed to be better. But I think it is because I am using an inferior jumper pc in the chain. The AQ Dragon power cord is a fantastic pc in its own right.

I do wish Mark would change the design of the Fuse box to an IEC male on one end so it could be inserted directly into the component, or the other end to have an AC Blade male to plug directly into the wall without having to use a jumper pc.

To be honest ,in the many tests on fuses yes they do work 

For chili tuning is a solid choice why ,the higher the conductivity the lower the resistance or noise floor everything goes through the fuses Silver and copper 3x+ 

betterthen tinned brass fuses and up to 20% more accurate cheap fuses can vary or drift , Hifi tuning under$90. Ceramic body and fine sand filled to absorb vibration 

these have somelogic behind them ,all these Graphene and $250-$500 fuses no thanks Waay to much money Hifi tuning at least from a conductor stand point makes sense VH Audio has all types as well as other brands.
