Blues: Good Vinyl Recordings


I just purchased Little Freddie Kings new record "direct to disc" on APO records. Its a really well recorded and enjoyed the record. Also got to see him live in New Orleans reccently and he was great live.

Almost all of Joe Bonamassa's albums have just been released on import vinyl. Try, "Black Rock", "Sloe Gin" or "A New Day Yesterday" for starters.

Well, I cannot find a vinyl issue of this album, but I can tell you that it is *very* well-mastered and recorded by Mr. Michael Bishop. Check out Junior Wells' "Come On In This House" available on CD and DTS-CD. The bass output is astonishing at times...
