Best 6x9 Speakers

So we will be talking about car speakers sizes. There is a wide variety of car speakers ranging from 3 inches to 6x9 inches.
I just love these 6x9 speakers for their powerful bass and quality music.
What speakers are you guys using in your cars.

seriously this is a home audio form why are you posting this here. or are you another of the recent spam posts? Sign up today post some nonsense with a link to a sight that's not related?

Thank you for mentioning, I just posted in the wrong window,
you could have said that in a better than stating such nonsense which u did.
While they aren't 6x9 speakers and since there is "no window" to post about car audio on Audiogon, I will offer my favorite from many moons ago.

I loved my Acoustic Research AR2's (set into the parcel well, removing the package shelf) wired into my Realistic under dash cassette deck in my '74 Volkswagen Bug. Riding along listening to Dire Straits and Boston sure seemed to work fine LOL. I haven't installed an after market stereo in a car since the 1980's unless you count a vintage car acquisition here and there. OEM does fine.
Gold Sound of Colorado made the best 6x9s I've heard by a wide margin. I don't know if he still makes them.
He does run an amazing store though- if ever in the area, a must-see for any audiophile!
Check sonic or crutchfield for the new speaker models and look on Amazon for old models at closeout prices for a bargain.

This infographic will help you.

Sorry for posting here. I'm experienced in car audio but newbie in home)

Really depends on budget and your goalds

i would put Hybrid Audio & AudioFrog at the top of my list

image Dynamics and Steven’s Audio also make great stuff

numerous other great brands to choose from

personal favorite is actually from Infinity, back in the early 90’s before they were ruined by Harmon.  Their old Kappa line with the emit tweeter were very impressive
In the late 80's early 90's I had  a pair of Alpine 6909.  Two way paper cone/rubber surround with a pretty decent 1 inch soft some tweeter.   I let them go with the car when I traded it in...I regret that.
An Audiobahn amplifier and pro JBL’s in the rear dash. Lot’s of punch in the bass, the high’s rolled off clean and a rich midrange. I blew an Elco and burned up the outputs in the Audiobahn, then gave the JBL’s to a friend.

I am using BOSS Audio Systems NX694 Car Speakers with Alpine Amp which I got last month from Walmart. I am now waiting for the Cyber Monday to see some good deals and I’ll upgrade to something more better. These speakers are working good and the Bass is also satisfying me. Reason for upgradation is I like testing new things. I recommend checking Speakers Hunter if you are looking for speakers or subwoofers because this particular website has covered a lot relevant content with expert advices.
Actually I am using pioneer  ts-e6902i car speakers in self made small towers ,love the beat, dynamics and midrange at work place:)
see if you can find some old boston acoustics speakers.  amazing!
i have heard some good polk audio too.
of the current offerings infinity kappa or models made by hertz (see woofers etc online) are very good, as are jbl gto.
stay away from alpine and jl audio.
focal are good but way too bright and require lots of eq.
Rockford R169X2 6 x 9.  Cheap in price yet Rockford is producing a decent sound system competing with other brands.

I have the JBL upscale stereo in my 2008 Tundra and the Mark Levinson stereo in my 2002 Lexus.  I use both for listening to books on CD or news stations on the radio.  Serious music listening is done at home on my 2 ch. system.
