I picked up Coda CSiB V1 and to say that I’m impressed would be an understatement!
Sshhhhh, be vewy vewy quiet, low level details are now being heard. (insertion of better emoticon than what is currently available)

@mclinnguy thank you! I was afraid it would be a significant step down from my Pass Labs XP-22 and X260.8 but it’s not a step down at all! I’m extremely pleased with the sonics of this Coda amp

Thanks @jafant !!! |
@audphile1 I just got the Coda S5.5 and it is impressive! |
@fthompson251 awesome! What did it replace? |
@audphile1 I sold my VAC Tubes electronics. They were old and kept needing repair. Now I am all solid state. @jafant Did a review on the Coda S5.5 and gave it high praise, and he was correct, it is outstanding in the right application. I am waiting on the delivery of the Audience Front Row reserve USB cable to go between my Aurender N200 and Denafrips Hermes/Venus II DDC/DAC combo. |
@jafant Cabling is as follows: XLR between Dac and Legacy Wavelet II = WW Gold Eclipse 8. XLR between Wavelet and Coda Amp = WW Gold Eclipse 8. Power cord on Aurender n 200 is DH labs Redwawe Signature. PC on DAC, DDC and Wavelet is WW silver eclipse 7, PC on Coda amp is DH Labs redwave signature. PC on Leqacy Focus XD is DH Labs Redwave signature, XLR between Wavelet and Focus XD is DH Labs Air Matrix Cryo. Digital cable SPDIF from N200 is WW gold Eclipse 7 and in coming USB will be Audience Front Row reserve. AES/EBU from CEC transport to Hermes is Illuminations orchid. I2s is Tublus Argentus. Speaker wire is Silversmith Fidelus. |
@fthompson251 I just added a set of Silversmith Fidelium’s on the Coda, I think I’ll keep them for a while. |
