Anyone drive Verity Audio Parsifal Encores with tubes?

I currently drive these speakers with an Ayre VX-5 twenty amplifier and while the low end is very good, I know it can be better.  Also looking to add more transparency and body to the soundstage and images.  My preamp is the very capable Ayre K-1xe.  Perhaps a more powerful solid state amp would also give me some of the aforementioned qualities so I'm open to recommendations there as well.  Just curious if tube amplifiers could drive these speakers well too.  Budget under $10K preferably.

Audiogoner @Montaldo drives Encores with Quicksilver V4 monoblocks. Great sounding combo.  I'd use tubes if I owned them.
They like big tube amps.  I will be with my buddy listening with a huge cary tube amp.  They sound tremendous.
@pdreher
The QS V4 monoblocks may be discontinued; at least that's what I read on their website.  They certainly are nice looking.

@elevick
I will look into the Cary's.  Thanks!
I just spent the afternoon listening to Gregs Cary V12 with his Veritys.  They are a great match and sound unbelievably natural and clean.
When I had mine I drove them primarily with Luxman Class A which was nice, but I auditioned them with an ARC Ref 110 and they sounded great.  I didn't want to get into big tube amps at the time but if you go down that path you will be rewarded. Those 110's seem to be a good deal now but I don't know how they compare to the above mentioned.  Have fun!
Ironically, I owned both VT-100 and VT-200 amps which were used to drive ProAc 3.8s I had at the time.  I moved away from big tube amps to avoid tube paranoia and the cost of replacing the power tubes.  Not to mention the heat output which made my listening room quite warm.  I'm in a completely different situation now and tubes would be fine so this is the reason why I am reconsidering them.  However, the Ayre is an excellent amp and requires zero maintenance.
I previously used Rogue M120'S and M150's then M180 and they all sounded great, I just had to down size to amps I could still lift.
Please keep us posted with regard to your adventure.  If I'd invested in plexiglass futures I'd set up a dedicated room Parsifal Anniversary driven with big tube amps.  Your mission is worthy.
Good suggestions so far.  Verity Audio speakers are commonly driven by hefty solid state amps so I am pleasantly surprised by the tube amp recommendations.
I drive my Verity's with the hybrid BHK 250.  The US distributor used to use the hybrid Trilogy amps at shows.
I realize that I was asking about tube amps and am still interested in them but I had an opportunity to pick up a Pass X350.5 and pulled the trigger.  I am waiting for it to arrive and will report back my impressions.
consider also an Ayre VX-R Twenty, but congrats on the Pass, an excellent amp I have heard many times

Hi JC4659,

Please do let us know how your Pass works with the Verity’s.   I am in the process of pulling the trigger on the Otello’s and considering the INT 250 or Boulder.
To all:  I am very interested in other amp recommendations.  I am looking for a warm, holographic, imaging tube like sound..

@maguiar102,
It works very well with the Parsifals.  The bass digs deep with great control and grip. The highs and mids are beautiful, the soundstage is wide and deep, and images clearly delineated but with slightly rounded edges. The only drawback is the Pass 350.5 is a beast. Good luck with whichever amp you end up with.

@maguiar102

If you're looking to stick with an integrated with the Otello's and want a tube like sound you might want to consider the Hybrid integrated amps from Modwright and Aesthetix.
Years ago I drove the Parsifal Encore monitors with Atma-Sphere M60 MKII monoblocks and it was a wonderful combination.
@maguiar102

The Audia Flight integrated amps work well with the Otello's and is one of the amps he showed Verity with until Verity came out with their own electronics.  Paul doesn't sell or distribute them anymore so don't know where to look for them.  I bought mine from him right after I bought the Otello's.
@jackd

Actually, I am getting the Otello’s from Paul and he has an AF ALS 10 he wants to sell me but it’s out of warranty.  I am skeptical about spending this kind of money without warranty.
Probably of no use to the OP, but for general interest: we were Verity dealers for twelve years and usually ran the Parsifals with an Air Tight ATM-2 or a pair of ATM-3. Pretty, pretty good!
I’m using a 28 watt Audio Note with the Otello’s and it drives them very well. I really like this combination.
I don’t think you need big power with these but please share your experiences.
I've the Verity's driven with the big CAT tube amps at shows several times and was always impressed with the naturalness of the sound.  Very impressive, and was always one of my favorite rooms.

Best wishes,
Don
