The Arm/Cartridge Matching Myth
Halcro wrote- "When I began my journey in high-end audio 36 years ago….no-one ever wrote about arm and cartridge matching nor tonearm resonant frequency…"I've been into audio slightly longer- and I can't disagree more- maybe I read different stuff...

Let's play the "what if" game
It's been a couple months since I last chimed in. I have made a modest change in my system in that I sold the Wiremold power strip and replaced it with a Cablepro power strip. Yes, another Naim friendly power strip even though I own no Naim gear.I...

I've set the anti skate at about 1.25. Listening to Way Out West- zero complaints! Thanks folks-
Voltage conversion in Wyred4 Sound DAC
So what's the difference? Bright tweeter and warm DAC or warm Tweeter and neutral or bright DAC? To me the most important thing a DAC can do is bring layers and width to the music coupled with neutrality. W4S can do that
Question about replacing 12AU7 tubes.
My experience with 12au7's is as follows- Mullard is my favorite, followed by RCA clear tops. When you factor in price, the RCA clear top is a bargain.
