which is more musical? A REL or a SUMIKO subwoofer for two channel only?
I was turned on to RELs some years ago by a close friend, and immediately found a used Q150e (150 watt front firing 10") on Ebay for 200 bucks...perfect but needed a new grill cloth (had the frame, easy fix)...GREAT sub that seriously transformed ...

Get your history straight Kaitty...it can give you that hint of credibility which you sorely need.
There's always time for a little Jimi...
Jimi had some advantages over other mere mortal guitar players, technique from soul music developed with long fingers playing all over the "chitlin'" circuit providing chops no white guy seemed to know about, utilized with an effortlessness coming...
Has anybody listened to the Klipsch Cornwall IV speakers?
Klipsch Heritage items (and others) are absolutely considered "high end" and will reveal the shortcomings of a weak front end, as well as make music from well sorted gear choices...I was very surprised when I heard Heresy IIIs as I hadn't paid muc...

The "appointment" thing about Goodwin's is nonsense...trust me, these guys want to sell this stuff so your "gear bucks" are always welcome.

Mitch sat in with my band in a Honolulu club in 1969 and was so immediately funky he burned the place up. Amazing, and our band got orchestra pit seating to watch the Experience a couple of nights...I'd already seen them in '67 (CA) and '68 (Hawai...

George H. W. Bush belonged in jail for Iran-Contra, otherwise I used to see him "striper" fishing (large boat followed by Secret Service smaller boats) when I was surfing in Kennebunk...he seemed nice from a distance...
You just won a $5,000 audio gear only gift card
An AC cable just so I could say to people, "I've got a five thousand dollar AC cable."
I need a loudness switch
I think the Loki is brilliant if used with discretion...I use mine rarely but when something needs help it works, and really stays out of the way when switched out.
Best cartridge for very old worn vinyl
I've got vinyl that wasn't ruined by my old turntable cartridges...amazingly...I assume my Much Better current rig just gets at the grooves better in every way, and I clean my vinyl these days so there's that.
LP made from a digital master recording...
There's a great little article in a Brit audio magazine I read a while back that makes the point about why analog from digital sounds better than digital...of course I can't find the article...damn...but it's true.
Should I buy a VPI SCOUTMASTER. I OWN 25 RECORDS.
We really need a device that adds clicks and pops to digital media so it sounds more like vinyl. I have lots of new vinyl (and old stuff) that sounds astonishingly good...lucky me, so of course you don't need used records particularly. Note I'm no...
