Klipsch Heresy IV - not what I was expecting
Somehow the midrange seemed "more right" when I put the Heresy IIIs back on their risers of my floor...obvious bass reinforcement happens with this configuration and with my 2 subs integrating perfectly it's all good...I've thought the bass withou...
Klipsch Heresy IV
If any substantial improvement has occurred with the IV redesign (and I do expect there has) I'll likely have to get a couple of them suckers as the IIIs have been such a pleasure to have around the last couple of years. They surprise me every day...
Synergistic Research Cable Risers?
The "electricity companies" bury cables whenever possible (any new development). Audio cables might interact with some types of carpet maybe, but if cables are well made...star quad, helix, well shielded ICs, they'l work fine and little stands won...
Synergistic Research Cable Risers?
Credibility is damaged among the hyperbole laden sheep-like faithful when they simply tumble after every silly tweak they can revel in and proudly claim the role of athletic supporter...ridiculous again (is that really only twice?). Does anybody a...
Are Bowers and Wilkins speakers overpriced?
I think the biggest flaw in some B&W speakers is the fact that they seem to be staring at you. They may sound great...still...I want my privacy...
Non-rear ported Speakers
Bass rolls around things, which is why any speaker is bass reinforced by walls regardless of port locations (I was in Portland ME last week...coincidence?)...when using a pair of old KEF front ported "uni-Qs" for mixing  they would blow little puf...
Speaker recommendations 10 to 30k and no beryllium
Another health issue we seem to ignore...people who eat tweeters. A Beryllium tweeter industry coverup? I say hemp tweeters all the way...

I have a simple, non gender specific solution...trap doors near the gear that immediately dump the over-curious into the basement or in the case of condo owners, the dumpster.
Speaker sensitivity, impedance, and calculating amp power
My speakers are so sensitive I have to watch what I say around them or  they can get upset....nobody needs a sulking speaker.
Reminder - It might be time to replace the rectifier tube if you have one.
My calculations were extremely careful although very likely utterly inaccurate.
Klipsch Heresy IV - not what I was expecting
My Heresy IIIs sit on slightly squashed (I rotate ’em from time to time to spread the squash, so to speak) Vibrapods with stick-on felt on the floor side so they can easily slide around on my wood floors for positioning. I sit 8 or 9 feet away and...

By my careful calculations, Dweller's rectifiers will last 37 years. I'd replace 'em at 36 to be safe.
Synergistic Research Cable Risers?
What happens to the cables inside your speakers? They’re sadly exposed to all sorts of extreme vibration, electro-mechanical or magnetic trauma...it’s a wonder they work at all, and a major reason why little outside cable holders are ridiculous.
which is more musical? A REL or a SUMIKO subwoofer for two channel only?
I don't think RELs have to match...mine don't particularly although they're part of the same era...look around for ANY used REL in great shape and add it to whatever you have...you will be happy.

To sum up, women (and men) should avoid audiophiles due to their inherent sexist misogyny, obvious personal insecurities, fragile egos, clear OCD issues, childish anger issues, and their inability to rationally interact with other people.
