Moon by Simaudio, Arcam and Hegel: Quality of Customer and Technical Phone Support
Simaudio has very good telephone customer support should you ever need it.  But as said, setting up an integrated isn't nearly as complicated as some components.
Kudo's to Miller Sound
Kudos is a borrowing from the Greek, and in Greek the -os ending is singular.  So it's one kudos.  As with topos (sing.) / topoi (plur.), the correct plural following the Greek would be kudoi.  Most people opt for it being unchanging (like sheep/s...
Seating height and bass
Or: move the couch back into position, and using the regular stands turn the speakers upside down.  See what that sounds like.  Might be horrible, but....

Upgrading a CD/SACD player with integral DAC
Marantz is an excellent recommendation.  I'd love to hear from someone who's heard the Ruby K1 and SA-10 side by side; the Ruby may be the sweet spot.Don't overlook Luxman, excellent machines plus again SACD.  Luxman is about to introduce new mode...
Is it a good idea to buy CD players over 10 years old even it is a reliable brand?
For 3K you can get a very nice brand new or gently used CD player, whose sound will be very competitive and which will be guaranteed to keep playing a good deal longer.
New to audio. Is there a good DAC that can produce layers of sound?
You probably want an R2R tube-based DAC.  MHDT and Audio Mirror are two distinct possibilities; Border Patrol would be another.  Search the forum for various threads on these DACs--you'll find other relevant ones named there also.

Classical Music for Aficionados
@jcazador  So I'm confused.  Hyperion, Liszt, S. 173~Steven Osborne, but S.154~Leslie Howard.  Identical titles=two different sets of compositions??
Recommendation for an audiophile speaker cord that is not "bright"?
Acoustic Zen, Wireworld, Triode Wire Labs, older Cardas, perhaps Audio Envy.
Does raising speaker cables off the floor really make a big difference?
Suspended by a series of monofilaments attached to eye-hooks in the ceiling is the only way to go.  Tests show no difference in the gauge of fishing-line used.It also makes vacuuming a breeze.
Denon or Yamaha vs Other CD Transports
@jay73Yes, it's kind of complicated.  There are a few dedicated transports more expensive than the Jays, and several less expensive.  Each model has a different set of outputs.  A good number of people use players as transports; some seem to work ...
Denon or Yamaha vs Other CD Transports
The Denon and Yamaha are CD *players*.  You need to distinguish between players and transports.  Jays is a transport.  Most players can be used as transports if they have a digital out (Red Book standard), but you're wasting money on the built-in ...
