Looking for Blues with High Fidelity
In general, one good label to set your sights on for well- engineered blues recordings is the Audioquest label.  Good call @starlightdiamond.  I really enjoy Robert Lucas on Audioquest, "Luke and the Locomotives" and "Completely Blue".

I stopped wasting my time with Clapton back in 1973. Well, some pretty good guitarists didn’t, including Buddy Guy and B. B. King. What’s your problem with Clapton? Yes, that’s Bloomfield in the picture and here's what he thought about Clapton:...
The Growing Challenge of Buying NOS/NIB Tubes
The Tube Museum is obviously a controversial  tube vendor.  Buyers can get the same tubes from other vendors without the risk, drama and stress.  Why take the chance?
The Growing Challenge of Buying NOS/NIB Tubes
I have bought tubes from The Tube Museum in the past.  The guy who operates as The Tube Museum has advertised many very nice tubes and the ones I bought were as advertised.  I was happy with my purchase.  However, if there is any doubt in your mi...
Sinatra Box Sets
I generally recommend the Steve Hoffman Music Forums for discussion of music.  I did a search for Frank Sinatra Box Sets and 15 different threads came up.  Good luck!
Looking for Blues with High Fidelity
Sue Foley recently put out an album "Pinky’s Blues." Some very good heavy duty blues guitar from Ms. Foley. Good sound. The B. B. King/Eric Clapton album "Riding with the King" is an excellent blues album if you do a little surgery on the Deluxe ...
Selling on Audiogon
In the past there was a My Photos link in one's Account and you had to upload your photos to that folder before adding them to your ad.  I don't know if that is still the case.  I haven't sold in a while. If no one offers a solution on the forums...
Cable question
Sorry to post off topic on this thread but I’m trying to contact ghdprentice.. @ghdprentice I sent you some questions through Audiogon messaging. I’d appreciate it very much if you could help me out.
Objective Opinion? I think I've found it!
Congrats to you and your dog!  I have high quality power conditioning in my system (Shunyata Denali) which is a definite improvement, but late night still sounds better to me.  Not all the time but often Do you have your amp plugged into the cond...
Is Old Music Killing New Music?
I found Archie Bunker to be a sad, pathetic but funny character on TV. In real life, such ignoramus behavior is just something I find pathetic @hilde45, This may come as a shock to you but Archie Bunker was a caricature, someone to be laughed a...
48kHz vs 96kHz: audible?
But I’m having trouble understanding how, if it’s done properly in the studio at hi res, that there could be any audible difference between a release at 16/44.1 and a release at say 24/96 or even higher, again assuming the same master was used. ...
Thoughts on Hi-Fi news demo from the 80's?
As in audio playback, every step along the way in recording music makes a difference in what you hear.  So, how and on what the music was recorded, mixed, mastered and pressed into final format makes a difference.   There is variation on how this...
Is Old Music Killing New Music?
Very funny @hilde45! Boomers are keeping younger people away from new music. Accessing a massive amount of music, more than any Boomer could have ever dreamed of having access to, has never been easier. Get off your butt, stop complaining and find...
I need one box for a Martin Logan Summit X -
You could check with ML headquarters in Kansas but manufacturing is done in Canada now, so that's probably where the boxes are.  Call ML customer service and see if they can help.  There is probably a dealer in Atlanta, you could give them a call.
Selling Details
Go to the Audiogon homepage There is a yellow band across the top, hover the pointer over Learn and a grey band will appear below it. In this band will be two icons, Selling on Audiogon and Buying on Audiogon. You know what to do next. Also, at t...
