@jwillox     Lumin App 7.0.6 still requires a login. I have the latest IOS and have not seen the update you speak of. What is your app version? Mine is the 7.0.6 version as well.  Do you have a TuneIn login ID that you can use on the Lumin app? ...
Hana ML and Korf head shell
You should be fine with the Hana ML but you may be between weights (leaning to the heavier) so hopefully you have both to try.  Hana ML is 9.5g and the headshell is 13g. Applicable cartridge/headshell weight: 14.5 to 20.5g (standard weight), 20.5...
Tube Amp recommendations to drive Klipsch Forte III
I'm driving my Forte III's with a Leben CS-300xs and it's crazy good.  The Forte III's are not the last word in detail but they are fun.  I actually have a MQ-88uC in my primary system and haven't trying pairing it with the Forte III's yet.  I can...

Jazz for aficionados
Totally digging my 1974 Japan pressing of Hampton Hawes' "For Real!" right now.  Never a solid attempt to re-issue in recent years, this one sounds great.  Harold land and Scott LaFaro are such a wonderful compliment to Hampton during this 1958 se...

Thanks @tvad   All of those stations are on the Lumin app now.  And the quality of the stream in many cases is better than what the table lists.  For instance H2O Radio HiRes  is 192kHz, 16bit, and streams on my end at 6.144 Mbps

@jbuhl   I would interested to know if the Lumin as a Radio Paradise app or is it utilizing a streaming url? Lumin uses a streaming url.  Prior to a few days ago you could only load stations through a TuneIn radio synch but it did allow for add...

Tons of people talking about how great their stuff sounds on Nobsound springs, or on Pods, or Podiums. QSA fuses, Stones, all kinds of things. You should try reading them. I’ve definitely read them. And now I’d like to hear how people feel those a...

@jetter I do not consider interconnects, or speaker and power cables tweaks. I’d agree but would you claim to be deriving more than 50% of your system’s listening pleasure from your cabling alone? I ask this as I’m genuinely curious because I’ve ...

Thanks @reubent   I will check out Radio Paradise.

@sns At least for purposes of this thread I wasn't trying to define a tweak.  I just wanted to get input on where audiophiles were assigning priorities in the build out of their systems.  Not sure it matters if we call component isolation a tweak,...

My Experience With Tekton
@dtrandall Is it possible to overdose on Irony? It's a full head-on collision involving irony and hypocrisy ;-)

@coralkong Look, this is only the 2nd thread I’ve created in the last 12 months. Others have created many multiples of this in just a few months so the tenor of the forum likely comes from subjects posted by others - much more than me. Believe it ...
