MrtennisI don't care which speaker is less "inaccurate"...that was not what my mention of the Apogee Scintilla was even about.I would explain the reasons for my mention of the Scintilla to the poster, if he were interested...and asked. He has not,...

There is a newly rebuilt pair of "Apogee Scintilla" for sale at Audiogon...(not mine). If you have room to setup "stacked Quads"...I'll assume you have room for the Scintilla. The Scintilla will do what both of those will do, if you set them up pro...

tube amps sounding like solid state and vv

Looking for the "better sub"
Robbob >>Considering all we make of tiny differences in gear and tweaks we make, I find it astounding that anyone even suggests that low level inputs in as good for 2 channel listening<<I gather you are fairly new to audio reproduction...
Looking for the "better sub"
Shadorne..."I am not sure that something linear is a good thing with panels".....you kidding right?BTW...I have panels, and a pair of very large subwoofers. I also have a pair of smaller subwoofers...I'll place my bet on larger any day.Dave
