H E L P !! Network issues with Teac NT 505?
I  am running the Teac nt-505 from ethernet with zero problems. Including streaming from Qobuz and Tidal, and playing files from my main home computer, through Minimserver and Lumin. I don't think you need another streamer. BTW, the Teac sounds ve...
Congratulations (yet again!) to Duke!!
Somewhat delayed - my congratulations also, as owner of the Dream Maker speakers developed by Duke, and the LCS effect speakers, developed by Duke and his partner James Romeyn. Very good value indeed. Audiokinesis is now maybe the leading company ...

Cool down folks. Even if Agon isn’t "political", everything is. Some are out to grab more cake. Some are accused if they dont have golden ears - or, some condition. Take it as it comes. Over here in Europe, many are concerned that the US will be p...
Your single most significant purchase mistake?
Purchase of wives - or husbands - not funny. If you wonder why there are few women on this forum - look here.

Spot on, gemoody. A badge is worthy of consideration. But maybe a dealer / manufacturer disclosure in the signature is OK as a first step. To make Audiogon a better forum.
About users with hidden agendas
As long as manufacturers, sellers and others with commercial audio interests sail under their own flags, openly - and dont post to the detriment of others - I am OK with it. I also have quite good experience with my Synergistic Research A/C Maste...
Best Bang for the Buck Upgrade
A user above mentions "silver link RCA for a startling uplift in information transmission. " Can anyone confirm this? Silver RCA plugs and sockets making a big diff??

There are objective listeners, half-way objective, and the 'money talks' group. Hopefully a small minority in this forum. I am of course NOT thinking of those who disclose their attachments openly, who often contribute a lot to the forum (e g Ralp...
TEAC NT-505 - How good is it?
My Teac NT-505 now sounds fine, after more break-in, and runs without problems. I wonder, has anyone compared it to the newest version, NT-505 X? I am testing with three Cerapucs that I had laying around, to simulate the new 3 point floating feet ...
Desktop single-driver speakers?
Sorry about the "look elsewhere" statement! Obviously a too broad generalization. And not even true for all the single driver speakers I have tried.
Desktop single-driver speakers?
Ok there are problems with single driver speakers, but compare this new debate on speaker x-overs - quite a long list of problems... https://forum.audiogon.com/discussions/fascinated-by-gr-research-channel/post?postid=2326082

I didnt watch his videos like he was the great speaker saviour, or that I have to buy his kits. Just that he was pointing out typical problems with cheap parts even in expensive speakers. What these parts look like, and how to get something better.

I agree with the OP. Very interesting videos. Even though some of the experts in this forum may disagree with some of the details of his statements, they generally fit my experience, and I especially like the way they are presented, as he points o...
Desktop single-driver speakers?
My impression so far, testing single driver desktop speakers: If you want pleasant subdued background music at your desktop, look elsewhere. If you want sound that grabs your attention, these single driver speakers are leaders of the pack.

John Blue 3 speakers seem similar to the Arche, single drivers, with a bit more low end. Anyone who have tried them? This review has some main points in common with my Arche experience - https://6moons.com/audioreviews/johnblue/jb3_4.html
