How does my amp stack up
Thanks Rob.
Popping when kids are jumping
OK, so it’s likely the amp. Turn it off. Open the amp. Turn it on with speakers connected and no inputs. Use a thin wooden stick to gently prod at different parts inside the unit until you cause the popping. That should indicate where the fault lies.
Component Placement
Monos beside speakers. Longer interconnects.
Ripped off, any ideas?

Question About Fuse Markings
High breaking capacity. Are they ceramic? The T means time delay i.e. slow blow.
What to do with inherited vintage Revox gear.

I use $30 power cord from BLE Design on eBay. Definite improvement in SQ. Tightening up of focus and blacker blacks. They use OFC wire and fancy sheath and hardware with a choice of plating. Well worth it.
Audio Repair in NJ???
Lots of different google results for tube amp repair in NJ - mostly guitar amps but worth a call.
Graham ls5/9 vs Harbeth M30.1
Absolute sound reviewed the Grahams recently.
Recommend an MC Cartridge for my TT15S1 and...
The arm may be too low a mass for the Denon. Look at Benz Glider SL or Audio Technica line of MCs. The OC9 is affordable with the ART 7 and 9 better with increasing cost.
Cartridge for a Pioneer PL 630?
But they are not less than $200. A lot more and not available anymore except on eBay. The Nag is solid and cheap.

Thanks @oregonpapa The thing is it does NOT sound mellow, laid back and "tubey". It’s pinpoint, neutral, and crystal clear with good resolution and unbelievable bass (for Quad 57s)

Check out my rig in Virtual Systems. Click on my name and click Details to get an idea of the more frugal route to great sound.

What is popping? Do you mean the woofer is making large excursions at a low frequency? Vibrations are being picked up by the tubes in your DAC. To test, remove DAC and switch to other source when your issue are in repetitive vertical motion.
