R.E.M. - Green (Warner 1988 Germany)This is a great album. Sounds good too. Bought it when it came out. Recorded it to TDK CrO2 and played it on the Pioneer head in the car back in the day.

@mammothguy54 Yeah, probably a stamper like you say. I've never heard anything like this type of distortion. Like the hi-hats overloaded the chain. It could have also been someone playing it with a busted stiletto before I got it.
