How Long Did It Take You To Build Your Dream Setup?
36 years since buying my first setup of a cheap Technics belt drive, Rotel amp and KEF Coda3 speakers. #wheredoesthetimego
Tube rolling with Quicksilver Mono 60s -- from KT77 to KT88? KT 120? etc.
@oldhvymec Totally. I ran 60s RCA 6L6 black plates in my EICOs. And 5881 Tung Sol brown base. Now run the 7581A which make the amps sound like really clean and neutral 34s. QS used run the sweet 8417 until they ran out of them.

Donvito is correct. I got carried away on tubes and forgot the QSilvers. While you can generally go up from 6L6 to KT88 in an amp designed for the smaller tube, you can't always go down from a big tube to a smaller tube in an amp designed to work ...

Second new Tung Sol 7581A. They're my current tube in 2 sets of monoblocs.  I've also heard good things about new TS EL34B.
Bent Slightly Out of Shape
@audio2design We'd a 160 with a Grace arm and AT95 cartridge and it was great. Bright and clear and musical. For $275, and clean, it's worth it.

Nice of her. I had a 318 and found it warm and forgiving but it killed the music and lacked detail. The Dual CS505 buried it for half the price back then. Even spending $250 on a AT540ML or 2M Blue will give you an improvement over the old Shure. ...

I suspect you're in the sweet spot now.
Sutherland 20/20 v Manley Chinook
I couldn't feel good looking inside a Sutherland at the $25 worth of parts!

Get an Audio Technica VM750SH and try it on both the Thorens and the Dual. Then sell the Thorens. I don’t think you’ll gain much trying to use a cheap MC on either.
What I'm thankful for in Audio ...
Thankful to inhabit this realm and possess the wherewithal and perspicacity to enjoy it.
Nobsound springs - load range
Granite sounds terrible. 4 x Nobsound springs with 1 spring in each under my 13 pound phono amp work well.
Audiophile AC Outlets
Albert Porter’s or Maestros are both good value.
New game with active speakers
Can also depend on your source software. Tight, digital, multitracked recordings can be amazing with SS but an all-analog late 50s record best with tubes.
Tone arm holes do not line up - best way to attach TT?
@amg56   Effective Length 282 mm = 11.1 inches!
Mistake to change from Spectrum (Coaxial) to Fios (Fiber optical)???
I do not have FIOS. Can you log into the modem? Try switching to PCM if Auto is selected in the audio settings.
