I've not heard the Classic 100 but have heard the SP100R2 and they need a lot more than 1m from the front wall.

Before you do any subwoofing, you should use at least 2. The newer S series RELs should be more than enough. I wouldn't bother with the Stentor. New RELs are faster and tighter.

Sting ‎– The Dream Of The Blue Turtles (A&M 1985)This album sounds better with every system improvement. I recollect it being bright and garish. Tonight, it sounds great.  
NAD 316 And Spade Terminals
Unscrew by hand the output post (might be a little tight) and slide the spade fork onto the now-exposed metal spindle. Then re-tighten the post. Ensure the spades don’t touch each other on other posts.
