My All Time Christmas Song +1 @thecarpathian Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah this time of year like it’s a holiday/Christmas song. Pure ignorant nonsense! AND If we're including albums, A Charlie Brown Christmas. Absolute staple.

How does sound influence your appreciation? Good point @slaw. While much of my record library is made up of music I like irrespective of the playback medium, I have grown to accommodate other music ordinarily outside my existing purview now that everything sounds fine on my systems.

Replacement power cabling for old Garrard 301 turntable I have 3 x 401s and in all of them I do not use a makeoff block or IEC receptacle. Like Glenn’s, the cable simply hangs down from the motor. I do have foam blocks under the cable as it runs off the rack edge.
Replacement power cabling for old Garrard 301 turntable Have you considered wiring to a makeoff block? That way you can use flexible and thinner insulated but non-sheathed wire from the motor to block.
