Passive preamp
I have been dablling with passive devices for years, but only until a few years ago, with the encouragement of georgehifi, above, I have taken it seriously, and purchased a nice passive device, which has, extraordinarily, convinced me, that active...
REVIEW: Pearl Jam, Live At Easy Street
Big PJ fan as well......" Its all about the performance "....+1 jafant.....I have several  live recordings that are not recorded, produced or mixed well, but the performances are incredible ( a few examples are Ozzy Osborne, ZZ top and Van Halen )...
Leak Speaker Connector
My set of 2075s did not use the B&O connector shared by hifiman. The Bass unit had a plug, with a foot long harness, to the top box, that I had never seen before, and the input connector from the amplifier was also not something I had ever see...
Leak Speaker Connector
I once owned a pair of Leak 2075 speakers. The importer was out on Long Island, N.Y., and he was no longer importing them. They were his last new set. I loved these speakers. However, they could not handle the power I expected them to, and I blew ...
Nuforce STA200
The NF STA 200 has a much wider bandwidth than the Rotels. What this means, I am not really sure, technically, because musically, the high frequencies on the NF are musically capable of reproducing much higher frequencies, with music signals. I st...
Nuforce STA200

@audiozen this is not like you. You should listen to it first, as you typically do, as far as your posts go, you always listened,1st. I am sure the Coda is a fine preamp, but, there are many..........Teajay is an individual, as we all are, and no ...
Are most recordings so bad it's not worth spending large on speakers?
Recording quality comes in all forms. Too many listeners I know, now and in the past, only listen to the better recordings ( Water Lily, Telarc, Sheffield, etc. just as a small example ). These are the folks that seem to spend the most on their sy...
Types of speakers to create nightclub style sound?
Perplexy, unless I missed it, you have not mentioned the size of this space. Early in this thread, I recommended what many people here are stating....pro powered speakers. Very reasonable, and can do a good job. I own Lascalas, have used Lascalas,...
The science of opinion ...
I read the article....needed a drink afterwards ( during, actually ). My two takeaways....( 1 ) when geoff asked " Are you Bozo the Clown "....and some of the youtube videos posted by Teo......LMAO.......
new GAN amplifier
Back to the 2 ohm thing, hey George.
Honest opinions on my two picks of loudspeakers
@shawnscola.....Believe me when I tell you, the CW IV is a huge upgrade over the CW IIIs ( and the IIIs are good ). I started a thread on the CW IVs, to alert Klipsch fans of the introduction of this new model....They will do exactly what you want...
Types of speakers to create nightclub style sound?
Is there a dance floor ? Are you looking to be able to talk over the music ? I would visit Guitar Center on line, and some other places that sell PA and stage speakers. You can get 4 excellent units for less than a pair of used / refurbished  Alte...
Honest opinions on my two picks of loudspeakers
To the OP....Why did you not get the CW IVs ?
