Any Bluetooth wireless speakers that you like?
Thanks for the suggestions.  Some new ones there for me.   Im very close to pushing the button for the Libratone.    It would go nicely in that room plus I like the form factor omni approach and features.   The much more expensive Bang And Olafson...

Charles no doubt listening is all that matters in the end. A happy customer is all that really matters.

My favorite overresponder is firing on all cylinders as well.

" as Charles has said it’s the listening that matters not the technology. "Thing is you have to buy to listen. Seller benefits first. Maybe even in the end if not returned. You have to make the decision of what to try and buy next based on somethin...

Charles,Yes there is no full consensus and every opinion matters.  Not like a full consensus ever really happens anyway with this stuff.Hey 30 day teleportation tweak from geoffkait guys!   What do we have to loose?  Dignity is overrated.

Fancy fuses are obviously not for everyone. Is there something wrong with that? Not everyone who bites apparently gets the same results. Some more, some less, some negative some none perhaps. To me its not reasonable to gloss things over and think ...

akg, thanks for that.  The Libratone looks like a winner at its price point.  Seems to be under the radar screen versus its competition at present.
why do people feel the need to buy expensive cable
Some cable sound similar.  Some much more different.  How much usually varies case by case for many reasons. The devil is always in the details.   it helps to avoid generalizations that do not always apply.

In all fairness, as I mentioned earlier,  the fuse I replaced with Synergistic Red in my Audio Research sp16 looked quite substantial and well thought out, not your garden variety fuse to start with.    Why would a company like Audio Research limi...
Tube integrated amp under $1000
Thanks for the input from those who posted.Actually, I must re-think this a bit. Wife will not be happy with any wires showing in our living room. Go figure?Given that I’m thinking going portable with a small headphone amp only, maybe one with tub...

I also think that using a "better" fuse with a fused speaker like Magnepan, where the fuse is actually in the signal path, has the best chance of reaping the biggest rewards. But hey I gotta agree with Geofkait at least somewhat  on this one.  Havi...

Just to recap, for those keeping score,    I do think a a fuse can make a difference.    However I am still not sure that I have heard one actually make much of a difference yet.  Except of course no sound at all when it blows.
