The Audiophile's Wife
I’m looking forward to the next installment.  Hope it’s soon :)
Albums you do not get...a plea for help and understanding
The chaotic Bebop jazz never did it for me, it’s just very annoying.  I can’t listen to country music either.  Dylan, Neil Young & CSNY are as country as I get.  I like funk & soul of the 60’s-80’s but not rap, house or whatever other nois...

B&K TS108 tuner. Secret functions Not in Manual!!
I had one of these tuners and hit the secret function by mistake many times. Instead of hitting a preset station, I would hit the memory button by mistake and it would throw off all of the presets.  Finally sold the tuner because of the very many ...
Seller Listing Pet Peeve
OMG!!!  So many times have I seen ads for: 1.  Expensive speakers and they won’t take the grills off to show the drivers 2.  Electronics where the seller thinks everyone wants to see a dozen pictures of the insides and none of the front faceplat...
Thinking Hybrid Integrated.
Here’s a couple oldie's: AMC CVT-3030 Ensemble B50 Tiger   I owned the AMC almost 30 years ago, a nice sounding unit, I always wanted to own the B50 Tiger.
Anybody still use a Hegeman Hapi 2?
Traded a Creek 5050 for a Hapi 2 and Acurus A80 many years ago.  One cool preamp!
Sad to say I need a new amp…
The B&K EX-442 Sonata is a stud of an amp.  Extremely tube like.  Had one years ago, sold it & then immediately plugged in a pair of Paoli M70 (heavily moded Dyna MkIII’s) expecting to hear a big difference, and couldn’t tell the amps apar...
Audiolab CDT 6000 Owners: Share the Love + Need help with time settings for Pause
Mine hasn’t defaulted to 15 minutes after I put it in standby.  I’m not sure I could duplicate this though so I’ll just leave it be.  I always hated the auto Standby feature anyway.
Please Recommend Highly Efficient Floor Standing Non-Horn Speaker Suggestions
Many hi efficiency non horn speakers are single driver speakers like Omega or Lowthers or back loaded horn cabinets.  I’ve been in this hobby 40 years and used to sell audio gear at the retail level & wouldn’t necessarily suggest high efficien...

Please settle a bet!
….and that Brandon magic continues….if anyone believes he really got 81 mil legit votes, you should also prefer Lloyds to Audio Research too.   Impossible bet to settle, just split the single malt & enjoy your systems.
Audiolab CDT 6000 Owners: Share the Love + Need help with time settings for Pause
Despite any idiosyncrasies with the remote, this is a pretty solid player.  I’m using a 1.5M Kimber Kable Coax on the transport and some cheaper Coax on my Bluesound Node 2i that’s not as good with an Audio-gd NFB-1s DAC.   Other gear:  Meridian...

The Wilt Chamberlain of Audio Gear
Ok, it’s nearly a year later and my life has taken about the most drastic 180 ever! Six months ago, I moved overseas to Israel and about 2.5 months ago, my audio gear arrived.  I tried to assemble the perfect desert island system of a small syste...
