Hidden Gems in Classic Rock Albums
@dodgealum - nice thread, but what he says is also true. And I'm confused as to how an album's title track can be a 'hidden gem' - if it's the album's title, it ain't hidden very well! 😄
Storage boxes. Can I discard high end shipping boxes, and still sell in the future?
I've got a bunch of other stuff in outside storage, so I keep all my audio component boxes there, too....
Does streaming music equate to high concert ticket prices
Nothing to do with each other. Down largely to Ticketmaster/Live Nation/ whatever other monopoly is gouging customers. I used to go to gigs all the time, now I almost never do, and I have a wonderful vinyl collection that I listen to.
Why do almost all women today hate home audio?
... and women vinyl reviewers, and there are a good number of those, will discuss the sound qualities of various pressings just as much as any male vinyl geek would. Some folks of any demographic who are into sound are into it more from the source...
Best musician in the world?
Silliest question in the world.

Yaaay...
Yay indeed - I live in San Francisco and I'll be able to go to this one!!
A Different "Analog" Question
I have both digital and analog in my sound system, but I will never wear a digital watch. I'd rather wear a cheap Timex....

Prospectives on Chi-Fi
As far as quality goes, I remember in the 50's and 60's, especially, products 'Made In Japan' were thought of like many think of 'Made In China' today. How things change....
Jethro Tull “Thick as a Brick” CD revisited
Most people who lead bands are 'control freaks' - part of the job, and usually for good reason - just ask John Fogerty.
Ticketmaster and other enemies of artists...
I may be mistaken, but here, a promoter either sells tickets through AXS or through Ticketmaster, but not both....  Back in the 70's, when you could queue up at a box office when tix went on sale, it was also great because if it was a reserved sea...
