Dynavector 507 arm lift assembly on a 501 arm I'm trying to discern what bearings and what vibrations you have mentioned. The arm lift is a passive device, and isn't capable of producing vibrations. It has no effect on any bearings that I can discern. Can you elaborate? Regards, Dan

Parts for Dynavector 501 Tonearm Well, gentlemen, it turns out the 507 arm lift is much larger in diameter than the 501 arm lift. I was going to attempt to remove the support body trom the arm, but I would have to disassemble the entire arm. A few years ago I would have done it, ...

Parts for Dynavector 501 Tonearm When I got my 501, back around 15 years ago, Dynavector did not stock hardly any parts for their older arms. I haven't even checked with them, if they didn't have parts that long ago, I wouldn't think they would have them now. Maybe I'm wrong, tho...
Tannoy question: Can I pair a Monitor Silver with a Monitor Red? I don't have any information about the frequency response in the various drivers (HF and LF sections of the two different speaker types), but if you have crossovers, you can lay them on the floor without enclosures and see how they respond. DAC Advice - Benchmark DAC 3 Sorry, had my head where the sun don't shine, my dac is the Benchmark DAC 3 DX, not the HG I reported it as. The Old Fart
DAC Advice - Benchmark DAC 3 I decided to update my DAC 1 PRE, and since I don't buy new, I picked up a DAC 3 HG, which I'm enjoying very much.
Please recommend speakers for 45 watt SET amps Thomas, that sounds fantastic to me. You're obviously doing something very right, and not just in the speaker department. Dan from Whidbey Island
Silver Speaker Cables I was going to mention Tempo Electric (from whom I bought two pairs of 12 gauge 12' long solid silver cable w/teflon insulation), and have been very happily and successfully using them ever since. I'm glad I don't have to buy them now, though. ... |
