How to connect monoblocks to a single REL sub with ONE RCA input
REL's response: "We would recommend connecting low level from your preamp to the R328 as the safest connection for your current setup. As long as it's safe to use a Y splitter out of the QS preamp, this will be fine for going into the single input...
Audio discounts during Coronavirus
@kren Agree. Fair question. I've seen sales online and w/local dealers as a result of a need to compete in a new environment and to keep cash flowing. Some specifically mention the "changed environment" but whether it's precisely due to COVID is o...
How to connect monoblocks to a single REL sub with ONE RCA input
@almarg FYI, I just found old threads where you were discussing exactly this problem. I wrote to Quicksilver, but don’t have a clear answer (yet) about how my preamp is wired (for the low-level RCA stereo to mono fix) or how best to ground a high ...

Line fault at the outlet -- do I need an electrician?
UPDATE: Trying to restart this thread with a more general but related question about powering my equipment. Please do not suggest getting a dedicated line. I agree that is the best thing to do and I will do it eventually. This is about solving a p...
How to connect monoblocks to a single REL sub with ONE RCA input

Sales or clearances happening now
I’m listening to Fritz, too, and hope to share, also. I heard my Salks are stalled in production due to the shutdown, there.
Which DAC makers let you do in home trial?
That’s a great point and thank you so much. I actually decided to go with linear tube audio and I am waiting for my dac right now. One of the reasons I asked this question was because there are a limited number of options from brick and mortar sto...
Tone controls -- assuming you're ok with them, when would you try them?
These last two posts really speak to another side of audio which I love -- not only *adjusting the sound balance* (as if we were all recording engineers) but also just *play.* I like to play with things. Remembering that helps keep life meaningful...
