| Speaker and amp help I'd lean toward something that could drive 4-6 ohm loads all day long.Power amps sound like the best choice.Multi-channel if they're capable.If they're 4 ohm capable,bi-amp is not needed unless you want to that way.Sounds more costly. | |

| Matching A/V Receiver/Speaker Impedance The standard for A/V receivers has been 8 ohms.Using speakers lower than that can be hard on the receiver.If a receiver is over driven,it can clip causing damage to the speakers,and or receiver.A 4 ohm capable receiver is rare.♫ | |

| NOS cartridges A lot of may have to do with the temperature and humidity they were stored at. Preferably cooler temps and lower humidity I think would keep them in better condition longer. |
