Could tube rectifier make have impact on sound
In the Jadis, the EL84 appears to be part of the regulator circuit.
Power Cables which take the soundstage back
Shellie, try a outboard D/A converter on your Sony 300 disc player, and it might start sounding like music. No power cord could change it.That wouldn't be a waste of money. You could use it on other sources too.I have tried numerous cords that friend...
Just when I thought digital could not match analog
Is this a sales pitch?
Use of TV antenna for Tuner
I would check the ground first also.It will most likely work fine if the connections outside are ok.Make sure it doesn't have an outdoor amp that needs a power supply. You would see the wire from the antenna going to a little box then the ant wire ...

The EL84 and EF86 must be part of the voltage regulator.Maybe somebody that has your unit will have tube rolling ideas for those tubes. It sounds like a nice unit.

Bummer!
decent RF universal control system
Some people consider this a repeater. It picks up the IF in one box, converts it to RF,transmits the RF signal around your house. Then the other box picks up the RF,and turns it back into IF and emits IF out to your tv,components etc.,from the second...
Review: Yaqin (China) MS-34D Tube amp
Are there any American amps you could compare it sonically to?
help with marantz 2325 phono section
I forgot to say, if you start using an outboard phono stage, check to make sure of its outputs. It most likely will need to plug in to unused auxiliary inputs. Also that it will work with MC/MM cartridges. Some are only made for MM,for use with gear t...

Loose driver mounting screws on Velodyne HGS-18
If they are threaded into the wood on any speaker and becomes striped out,its best to use "T-NUTS".They are metal and inserted from the rear. This link is for picture purpose.Link>>>[http://www.stafast.com/products/tnuts.html]
Cap voltage
You need to keep the voltage at least as high or higher, but smaller uf/mfd value may loose some bass in my experience. That might make highs appear to sound better.
Need MM phono stage under $300
Maybe google reviews on some of these products.[http://www.audioadvisor.com/products.asp?dept=74]
help with marantz 2325 phono section
There are low and high output MC cartridges.I don't know if the 2325 has a MC input. It may have a MM input like my smaller Marantz did.Somebody here will probably give you better advise. If you need to go outboard, this place has some good ones.Link...
Power Cables which take the soundstage back
I wish they could understand a power cord can't condition. It's still the same.Dirty power into the cord, dirty power out of it.I wonder if all the engineers have super cords on their test equipment.
