Making speakers “disappear”…..
@thomastrouble you started several posts with the same or overlapping questions within 36 hours and then you randomly follow up and respond to some suggestions. It’s not the first time I see this, but to me it seems counterproductive and redundant...
What's your experience with snooty HiFi salesmen?
I knew a  snooty salesman that used  the ploy of asking customers how much they wanted to spend then demonstrating a well matched system that was much more expensive before I had the opposite experience, most of the times they would refuse to c...
Does anybody pay a pro to dial their system in?
you have very nice components. Perfect for a small room. I have similar room size and a much cheaper system and I have two comments yes, some recordings will sound like crap on a good system. What sounded enjoyable until now, can now sound chaos....
Real world Loudspeakers what does very good cost ?
@curtdr I agree with you on "no need to be hostile".  I am on the fence about "comprehensible enough, as is the OP's." I am very confused about the title in several ways and it's probably just me.  And I explained myself back and forth, what bug...
Goodbye Everyone

Real world Loudspeakers what does very good cost ?
@musicaddict I think there are different speaker price points where value peaks and from where you'd have to make a big jump to increase SQ along with component upgrades. From what I read here, you can have the big boys (Sonus, Dyna, Joseph, Harbe...
Goodbye Everyone
@elliottbnewcombjr I understand and agree with what you are saying about the contrast and I would say audiogon is not a "warm" forum. Maybe because it's a lonely event, audiophiles are generally not the most social people. Also, it's the format: p...
Goodbye Everyone
many of the most practical, sensible advices came from him, he has been always curious and clever. I hope it's nothing health-related and irreversible

I know what I wrote was fragmented, thank you, regardless. Still, I am missing your point.  (If you were missing my point, I’d be happy to reword it.) Regarding my English, feel free to lecture me, you will find lots of issues with my grammar. ...
If you had to narrow your choices to 4 - 5 speakers
@ghdprentice "If you can afford $30K speakers you certainly deserve them" I know 14 or so people personally on this Planet who can afford 30K speakers (without starving their children) and at least 12 of them don’t deserve it, according to me, ...

@curtdr It's ironic that I thought your sentences were confusing and with bad grammar but I am not an English professor and I am ESL as well so I wouldn't know. I pasted my rambling into Word 365 and it corrected nothing. So besides the Lintons w...

audio gear is like health care. The older you get, the more you spend
Real world Loudspeakers what does very good cost ?
how do you not even get the title right? Like just to put the words in the right order so that it resembles English? Or with bad grammar but making some sense. Or am I missing something, this is how audiophiles talk? (I am not one)
speaker cables under 1k for Harbeth 30.2XD?
