Acoustic treatment for side glass doors / please, need ideas.
Bass traps are great, also suggest considering diffusion, especially behind and between the speakers. Contact GIK acoustics for pro level help, and very cost effective products. Best,E

Nothing shows respect for the people you are interacting with less than straw man arguments and innuendos.I’m really unhappy to see it here.Best,E

Blackout drapes are good ideas.  Used them myself. Work really well. I also want to suggest, that while imperfect, treating what you can can make up for what you can't. For instance, extra thick rugs, ceiling treatment, and diffusors between the s...

So I know people are used to me laughing at most 1980’s attitudes about Class D. However, the reality is that some Class D can emit a lot of RF noise, I think Putzeys writes somewhere that it can actually cause cross-interference if two Class D am...

More curious than a real question- remote trigger? Anyone use it?
So as to the question about sound quality, no, the trigger switches do not affect sound quality. However, I like to leave my main amps on 24/7. A lot easier on the planet with Class D. :) Best,E

Hi Tim,That is interesting, George has been hawking this for a while. However, since I cannot hear any problems with good class D, I won't be put out if I stick with "slow" transistors. They work just fine for me.One really interesting thing about ...

@asvjerry I cannot hear the difference between my class D amps and Parasound A23s. Zero. None. Therefore, small, lower stand-by power wins. But there are interesting hybrids. NuForce is basically class D voltage rails + Class A linear amp. Yamaha’...

Looking for input: Best material for mid range cone
Agreed. The material used in a driver is only one of many factors that come into play. I've heard very good and very bad Be tweeters for instance. Fun to bs about though.Best,E

BTW, I've had a number of golden eared audiophiles listen to my system. The issue of Class D never comes up until the end. No one ever says "OH, wow, I can hear the Class D problems!" We talk music, headphones, speakers, and room acoustics. On the...

The non-existent problems? Oh, but wait, they only address the non-existant problems but never actually solve them. Damn. And all that money. Maybe people should just stick with inexpensive Class D amps available already which fixes it all. George...
AVR vs. reasonable seperates
What about a modern Yammy Aventage HT receiver? https://www.crutchfield.com/shopsearch/yamaha_receiver.htmlAlso look at Spearit Sound to see what they have in the NAD range. Best,E

So George would like you to believe all Class D amps have issues, but this one future amp finally fixes "The class D problem."  and reviews say so.Hahahah.BTW, technically this may actually be a Digital Class D amp, given the A/D conversion and pr...

It's particularly useful for high power, multi-channel. Nice to be able to turn off the surround/center amps when only listening to 2 channel. Some power conditioners will also do this for you in case your amps do not. Best,E
