@noromanceOh, OK, this makes more sense.  The 26 uF is on the mid range. Be VERY careful replacing the 8uF that is in parallel on the mid. I'd need to do a full analysis, but if that has 2 Ohms or so of ESR, you don't want to remove it. Best,E

Of course, ideally you measure the ESR of each cap before replacing. You can do this with a DATS unit or using Room EQ Wizard with a custom jig. The 26 uF in the high pass doesn't make a lot of sense though. Are you sure?
$3000 stand mounted speakers?

2 Questions?
From a usability perspective though, you might like the Schiit Loki. I mean, you can do it all with Roon for $0, but if you want hands on tone controls and don't have them, this will work:https://amzn.to/2uBQAEsFull disclosure: That's an associate...
2 Questions?
Hey High-Amp,You don't need to get that fancy. You can use Roon as basic tone controls too. :) Right click on the output device (lower right on Roon), select DSP, and then click on Parametric EQ.  The first and last dots are the shelving EQ, those...
2 Questions?
How about just using tone controls? That is enough. If you have Roon, you can create different DSP presets, and switch back and forth.  Of course, there are audiophiles who love having different speakers and love them for different reasons, I'm ju...
Who supports Amazon in a streamer?
Thanks, I think I found it here:https://www.amazon.com/b/ref=s9_acss_bw_cg_AMHDFAQ_md2_w?node=14063680011&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&...Wonder what is up with Roon then?
RS7 ROON ROCK MUSIC SERVER
Roon core is CPU intensive. The streamers are not. I spent about ~ $150 on a Pi4 based streamer.
Automatic Room Correction is better than the alternative.
Apologies, while credited, I should have included the full link:https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/an-enticing-marketing-story-theory-withou...
Accounting for slight hearing loss
Stay away from digital EQ’ing. No reason to avoid this if you do it before the DAC.  Still, for the OP's problem, a Schiit might just do everything he needs. It's cheap, easy to use, easy to install.
Accounting for slight hearing loss
Doing it in the xo would likely result in differential impedance and likely phase curves, between speakers. As a crossover designer, unless you are an experienced crossover designer yourself, this is much harder than you think it is, and what if th...
Audiophile Bass?
Most recordings being studio works, I'm not surprised! :) Best,E

Depends how old, and where. In series = SafeGoing to ground = DangerousOld = High ESRNewer = Low ESRIf you are replacing a series cap, relatively ( < 10 years) new, you are fine. If the cap is old, it probably has higher ESR, and that should be...
Ditching Roon going back to BluOS for Bluesound Node 2i
1 - I do. 2 - I'll have to check this when home3 - Never had this issue4 - It is a semi-manual process, it is not as integrated as anything with Dirac Live (like the miniDSP streamers) but it's pretty fully featured if you have the tools and exper...
String Together MIT XLRs?
MIT cables explicitly add inductance or capacitance. That's their shtick. They want the cables to have character, so twice as many of them, twice as much character. Mogami attemps to lack character and be as purely resistive as possible. Best,E
