Roon and Pi fans - new Pi 4 Silent Cooler
Nice find, @djones51, these are the only 3 case as a heat sink I have found for the Pi 4.
Bi-Amping with one amp?
Yes and yes. You can use 4 channels of the Bryston to biamp your Speaker pair.

Oh, finally found a picture of the insides! Looks like it has an attachment for what I think is the RAM chip too?

Hey @djones51 That looks pretty nice, and pretty affordable! How does it attach to the CPU? Best,E
IcePower1200AS: Who has heard or has them, with what system components? Do you love them?
I can't speak to ever ICEpower amp as I've only lived with the 250 ASP which predate ICEedge. In my case they had no obvious flaws except to have an overly warm presentation, exactly like the Parasound A23s I was comparing them to.  Blindfolded I ...
Single driver vs traditional 3 way loudspeakers
Hey @robn68I believe that the Tannoy’s are not what we normally call full-range. They are coaxial. That is, they have 2 different voice coils in the same housing. Different beasts, but lots of fans too.A full-range speaker has only 1 voice coil, a...
MiniDSP SQ - Surprised
Have fun!! Let me know what you think.
End of the World system
So it's fun to see this thread has been resurrected, but the point I was trying to make is, if money was no object but weight and size means you have to carry it back (sorry your home has the only power source) how would you scale back your need f...
best way to connect two subwoofers
Do it the easy way.  I just saw the specs on the subs, very nice set up capabilities, but configuration is still manual.  Solve your integration issues first, and separately.  My guess is that once you do you'll be so happy you won't care about ot...
MiniDSP SQ - Surprised
Hey! I agree, but i only run my miniDSP on my sub. I do use digital EQ via Roon which has it built in. You might also want to try the miniDSP with built in streaming. :)
Where has been your most effective placement for an aftermarket fuse?
Personally I've always found that fuses sound best inside the fuse holder.Badum dum, phhhhhhhhh! Thank you thank you, I'm here all week and I do weddings too.
Single driver vs traditional 3 way loudspeakers
FR - Full Range (i.e. 1 driver to rule them all)MTM - Mid/Twetter/Mid, kind of but not necessarily synonymous with a D'Appolito alignment. They have narrow vertical dispersion, but also thanks to the dual drivers, less IM distortion, and if crosse...
How the power of the PC has changed speaker sound
Hi @roxy54It's not clear to me how many new readers would see his posts and not understand the reasons why I won't engage him so in the interest of them I posted my one and only reply. For regular a'goners, Kenjit's history speaks for itself.E
Single driver vs traditional 3 way loudspeakers
As you all know, the only reason I come to this site is to completely derail discussion threads, so here I go: Don't forget the Woofer-assisted wide-band either! It's kind of like a full-range, but with a woofer.  The main advantage is the lack of...
Lots of bass at walls, lack of bass in center of room/listening position
OP,OK, I see the confusion. When I do an image search I get a lot of the Be series of Yamaha’s show up as NS 5000 speakers. If this is the new, Zylon speaker, then the FR does not make sense to me at all. Best,E
