Lots of bass at walls, lack of bass in center of room/listening position
BTW, the one thing I don't see evidence for is the need of bass traps. I know the world will be shocked, but this is not the case here.  What you need is the slope from 1kHz to 10kHz to go further down.  The problem is not, as often the case, that...

Here is another comparison, this time with left sub, 2 subs and no subs and a bit more smoothing (1/12) to make this more clear. Great pic.  Um, you definitely have complications.  There's an increasing trend from 60 Hz to 1 kHz.  This should be...

Humor me.  Turn the sub off and send me a pic of your mains full-range.

OP:In general, your measurements show the two are not integrated. You want the bottom and upper part of this graph to merge completely seamlessly. I only have a delay knob on my subs (PSA V1800). Is that what I should play with? I don't have po...
Usage of the Intona USB Isolator
It's clear from the description that the most important feature is galvanic isolation. This means there is no metal to metal path between input and output. Sadly, even with modern DAC's which should all include this some still do not.  This is esp...

See the null ~ 120 Hz ?  Makes me wonder if your speaker/sub polarity is not backwards.  Flip and re-run.
Why are there so many wooden speakers?
That is probably one of the main reasons youre not happy with them I'm a lot happier with my speakers than you are with your lot in life, Kenjit.
Why are there so many wooden speakers?
Wood?  No high end speaker uses wood.  Nothing is superior to an aluminum / unobtanium matrix with a finite element analysis 3D printed damping matrix sandwiched between sheets of very thin depleted uranium. Everything else is just consumer pablum.
The next big driver hype: Textreme
Between the Purifi and Textreme drivers it is a really fun time to be around if you are in to 6" mid woofers.
Looking for Linear Power Supply for my Mytek Brooklyn DAC. Suggestions?
I ordered an ifi iPower for both my Pi 4 streamer and Mytek Brooklyn. https://amzn.to/33dvsTz(Disclaimer, that’s an affiliate link, if you buy from it I’ll save money on my CD’s) Pretty good sounding. I haven’t been able to do any direct compariso...

Wrote about it at length here:https://inatinear.blogspot.com/2019/04/power-management-for-frugal-audiophiles.html

Bass traps and possibly 2 subs may be necessary.  Start with the traps.
CJ PV10AR upgrade?
Hey John,I had an original PV10 and worked on it extensively. There are a handful (maybe like 4) electrolytic caps which should be replaced, but that’s all I can think of as getting old. Everything else was film. There was also an undersized (comp...
hooking the Velodyne DD12+
Mogami makes great stuff.  I'm sure it will be fine. More important will be room acoustics and integration with the rest of the system.
JBL 4367 shoutiness remedies?
Room acoustics?? A live room will accentuate mid to treble a great deal, especially with volume. I suggest these two experiments: 1 - Sit about 2 feet in front and see if the problem goes away.  If so, definitely the room. 2 - Throw absorbent mate...
