Graham Phantom damping fluid level. Since when is the update on the bearing cap? So is there are new fluid as well?
Wilson Audio fuse box As a note. The Resistors are from Caddok. They can not be ordered from anyone but Wilson as they are OEM for Wilson only. And they work. No more Grateful Dead concerts at night until I get a new backup set. You can do a "freshen up" on your speake...
Great Cartridge for Graham Phantom I find the Titan I to be very dynamic in the Phantom. IF you put too much damping fluid you will "slow" down the cartridge & it will not sound live. How much do I use? Not sure but not a lot. I tuned by ear. As the cartridge breaks in further ...
TW Raven Acustic AC Owners Elinor,Please look up my system page to see what i did. I made my own stand via springs etc purchased from Machina Dynamica. In my system I had feedback which caused some lack of resolution due to the bass. All these problems were removed with the...
Swiss amps The more complicated the watch the more likely to break on impact. If you want a watch that should be able to withstand anything look at Wyler. It has extensive protection from impact built in. Not cheap though and only a chronograph movement or T...
zyx universe cartr.- ideal weight -ideal vta , Halcro,MIght I suggest the optional brass mounting plate to come w. your Schroder. It will improve the bass on your ZYX as well as everything else. Just my experience.
Triplanar VII tonearm & Koetsu Jade Platinum cart. In the case of effective mass, it is a different calculation than the mass of the arm. I am not 100% sure but I feel it relates to inertia. In the case of a Dynavector arm the effective mass can be altered by using a high mass headshell. On the in...
zyx universe cartr.- ideal weight -ideal vta , I listened to the 4D recently. VEry good cartridge. The ZYX trademark sound but much more body and more dynamic. I compared it with a 47 Labs which had equal dynamics but a bit more warmth. The 47 labs also was a bit richer sounding. I then listen...
Triplanar VII tonearm & Koetsu Jade Platinum cart. I had the Jade in 3 different arms. Suffice it to say it is a very low compliance cartridge. You have not heard a Jade until you hear it in a high mass (over 28 gm) arm. This brings the bass and treble into focus and gets the Resonant frequency ou...
zyx universe cartr.- ideal weight -ideal vta , I am using 1.95 VTF. Anything below and you can hear it. As far as VTA I run a tiny bit negative. I tried parallel but it sounded better in my system just down a little. I use it in Schroder SQ arm.
Raven One I am using a Machina Dynamica stand incorporated into a soundanchor stand. I have photos of it in my system. It is something easily done and resulted in a great sonic improvement for me. I am just using Stillpoints. Basically some isolation on top...
Raven One Emailists,I removed the Stillpoints once I had an isolation stand. I put them back as the improvement is substantial. I highly recommend it. It is more of the same benefits as your isolation stand.
TW Acoustic Raven owners Audioblazer,I have a response which will confuse you. My cousin use a Walker Motor controller to his Simon Yorke table. He uses a high end power cord from the Walker Motor Drive to his motor finding it improved the sound significantly. We feel it ...
Does it really get any better than the Raven AC ?? Fm,I love the mystic compared to the Millenium. But that is me. But some say it depends on the LP. Also, the Harmonix clamp is amazing. I love it. Is it better than all the others. Not sure but it sure looks cool and is better than some of them. H...
Does it really get any better than the Raven AC ?? I have mine on both Stillpoints and a stand. I spent the effort (it is so heavy) to remove the table from the Stillpoints and place it directly on the regular feet. The loss in detail and separation was significant enough to make the test last no ... |
