| Monitor users, isolation? I use Herbies big dots, three each speaker, between my Dynaudio Special 25's and Dynaudio stands. I like them a lot, very stable, sound nice, and I don't have to mar the speaker veneer with the spikes. | |

| Nottingham without a mat...anyone try it? Boy, never tried it but I really don't think that it would be very good. The basic platter should reflect all vibration back into the LP. I use the Boston Audio Mat, pure graphite, and it works wonderfully. I would strongly recommend giving it a try. | |
