| rothwell attenuators..effect on sound? I use them between my pre-amp and amp and have not heard any discernable effect on sound quality other than lower volume. I would recommend them if your goal is to reduce gain.Chuck | |

| Amp for Thiel CS1.5? In your price range you might be able to find a used conrad johnson 2250; cj is a good match for thiels. I currently run a cj premier350 into thiel 3.6's with great results. Prior to the premier 350 I used a cj 2500A also with good results.Chuck | |

I received my information from conrad johnson as I run their electronics and they suggested short inteconnects.....short as possible........over speaker cables. With long interconnects I believe it is recommended to use a balanced design; not sure... | |
