It’s funny, a local radio station just had a call in and if you and if you answered five questions correctly you win a prize.  The second question asked was what bands fans were referred to as “Gear Heads”? Both players missed it.  
When feeding a DAC Hi-Res files, DSD128, 256, 512, PCM 32/768, etc are NOS DACs prefered?
I’m using a Denafrips DAC and all of their DAC’s are either OS or NOS and it’s up to your ears which you like best. I’ll give you a hint, some files sound better NOS and some files sound better OS.

I’ve been using an Audiolab 6000CDT that I bought open box.  It’s going to a Denafrips Pontus ll DAC, but the Aries ll is an excellent DAC the money. All the best.
